I have been to Australia.... I think they have already invented airplanes. Could be wrong of course. In that case, you could also hire a horse for your cart.
Janet is awesome.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Not cheap with the recent increases in flight costs: getting my wife to and from Tassie recently cost quite a bit more than getting us both over there last year.

With the price increases, I do not even know if I can have a summer holiday trip this year. But at least I was able to book a short trip to the UK in February- and even that short trip cost twice the price I would have paid before COVID, back in the day when the world was "normal".
I remember when I was doing my 6 months internship in Tasmania, I went to the mainland several times (even on a student budget) because the flights were so cheap. But that was 15 years ago.

My mum (who lives in Hobart) would frequently get on a plane to Melbourne, do some shopping, have lunch with my sister, do some more shopping, then fly home for tea. My dad would drop her off and pick her up again. And this was 15-20 years ago. It is insane how domestic travel has become so expensive: my son came over recently for Christmas and he only brought a backpack because the national carrier had just started charging ridiculous rates for suitcases.

I can vouch very strongly for the Act/React Theatre folks arranging the event here in Brisbane. Top-notch people who know how to put on a great show.
