I'd assumed with the sudden sale this week that an announcement of a new Omega Factor audiobook was inbound...so the fact we're getting Louise and John for a two hour, full cast production is an unexpected but very welcome surprise.
Definitely one I'll be buying by Halloween...and hopefully it'll turn out to not be a "one off".

I think ”audio movie” is wonderfully effective marketing shorthand, for what it’s worth. Two cheekily inaccurate words that do the work of a paragraph, instantly shifting expectations from small-scale reunion episode to a special event worth paying 25 Australian dollars for.
(Full disclosure: sold own webseries as ”movie-length story” for similar reasons; believes it drew in people not familiar with or attracted to the medium.)
Not that I needed selling on this. They had me at “by Tim Foley”.

For those - including myself - who have been puzzled by the description of this highly anticipated story as an 'audio movie', David Richardson expands a little in the new edition of Vortex.
"It means you can turn off the lights but still see the cinematic pictures. If we've done our woprk properly, it's a fully immersive experience for the senses. An audio movie should propel you totally into the story and never let up."
Looking forward to October already.
