I've just caught up on the Vader Down arc that has spread over Marvel's Star Wars and Darth Vader book in the past couple of months. Very strong stuff which has really shown how great it is that Marvel has the licence now. They're doing a lot more than Dark Horse did to ensure it all feels of a piece. Vader gets some wonderful development and it's fascinating that he and The Emperor have an almost antagonistic relationship.
Also picked up Batman '66 Meets The Man From UNCLE 1 and 2 which are bags of fun. The tone is fine for Batman 66 but I've read some reviews say it doesn't work for UNCLE. I can only assume those critics are only familiar with early UNCLE as it started out quite serious but - almost exactly the same as The Avengers and the Saint - ended up really fantastical and verging on the camp so Series 3 Man From UNCLE fits nicely with the Adam West Batman. It's not for everyone but if you like both shows - 100%.

I've been reading The Omega Men. It's a great title, with very ambiguous character and possibly the best thing with Kyle Rayner in a while. I'm looking forward to the next issue, and finding out what exactly in on Voorl...

Last Comic I read was Avatar: The Rift. It dealt with some of the spiritual and familial plot threads left over from the series (with Toph, who's the best), as well as bridging some story elements to Korra.
I'm quite enjoying getting continued stories from Aang and the Gaang in this format. The dialogue was a little too snarky/quippy in some of the early instalments, but its getting a better handle on the show as it goes on.
Holding off on Parts 1 & 2 of Smoke and Shadows until the third issue comes out.

Haven't read too many comics of late, bar the Titan Doctor Who titles that are more regular than Dublin buses, but my other main comic luxury is The Walking Dead and #150 is the last issue that I read of that, as it was out on Wednesday. It was a bumper issue to mark the 150th milestone and sees Rick Grimes back in biting business while getting ready for war... and Carl being a little bit naughty! Which sets up the next fun-filled arc dealing with life in the Zombie apocalypse...
The Vader/SW Marvel titles are some of the best stuff that Marvel have done, but I am a little bit behind in those.

Eighth Doctor #3 from Titan Comics. Me too. A great series so far. The 8th doctor comic is brilliant.

Catching up on all things Marvel at the moment. I'm VERY glad that we're in an era of post-Hickman Avengers.

Tales From The TARDIS #2, featuring the very first degeneration (known as a 'retro regeneration'). It ewas a shame they didn't explore this more in the comic; 9 soon quickly became 10 again.

Check out the Timeslip ... retro regeneration is introdced when the Fourth Doctor changes back in to his previous incarnations, and that was in 1980! The Tenth Doctor story The Fountains of Forever was very enjoyable though... Titan have also used retro regeneration in their 11th Doctor comic (2.4), so the Titan Comics Editor obviously likes the idea!

I've been reading DC's Injustice series lately. I like it a lot more than Marvel's Civil War.

The DC April solicitations are up here. The Omega Men is coming to what looks like a fiery conclusion. The Omega Lantern on the cover has me very curious, but it's just over a week now until I find out what happens on Voorl! Green Lantern is finally addressing the Grey Agents (they'd been following Hal's tracks throughout the Renegade arc so far), and once again a new era will be ushered in. Seriously, does that promise of a new era, everything changing, nothing being the same, come up often? If so, how often does it actually live up to the promise?

You'll get the chance to rectify that in March when Titan release their 4th Doctor mini-series. Gaze of the Medusa written by Gordon Rennie & Emma Beeby features the 4th Doctor with Sarah-Jane Smith. It'll be good to have some new 4th Doctor comic adventures, so I'm looking forward to it.

The Titan Doctor Who US comics are available in the UK on import easily enough, just from comic shops not newsagents. (A lot of mine are forwarded on from the UK.) So there is no need to be behind at all...

Doctor Who Comic and Tales From The TARDIS are better value for money though because you get two Doctors together in both for £3.99 each.

Silver Surfer #1 - damn renumbering - is stunning. It's just out. It gets really meta - there's a race who come to Earth and steal peoples memories of what "art" is, for their own understanding. It's got quite a few Who references (the Surfer books have for quite a while now) and he's got a young, female companion with him too . It's a much better fit for Dan Slott on writing duties than his awful Spidey run. Captain Marvel #1 is also highly recommended. It's a very introspective piece and is perfect for someone new to Ms Danvers adventures. It's got an "OMG" ending.

I read that, I liked the way at the end the main alien was dressed as the 4th Doctor. I also read Saga, Daredevil and Flash.
