Ooh a proper post-Time War Dalek story, even touching on the fact they actually kinda won the Time War. Sign me up.
Also things ain’t sounding good for Valarie…

Sounds really exciting, this has been such a great series. Would love more of this kind of thing for other Doctors too. It's exactly the sort of thing that the Ninth Doctor Adventures would benefit from.

This looks epic! I'm curious how this final set will leave things with Valerie and the search for Clara.
The episodes sound really intriguing and it'll be interesting hearing 11 face the Daleks as he only had two full Dalek TV episodes, the later of which I believe he erased himself from their memory.

Quite excited for a Dalek rematch with Eleven, especially the Paradigm. For a Doctor that had quite a few encounters with them, I never really think he had a “proper” Dalek story. Victory spent so much time building up and the confrontation was mainly an introduction to the Paradigm. Asylum is spent partially with him helping them and partially avoiding them, although the Clara encounter at the end is ace. The Day & Time of the Doctor are just brief skirmishes and the Wedding of River Song is menacing, albeit brief again.
Very interested how the Doctor and Valerie will part. I don’t think she’ll die, despite what the synopsis hints at; it doesn’t seem to suit the Doctor where he’s at in his search for Clara come The Bells of Saint John. But nothing to say that can’t be disproved.
It’s been a cracking run so far, I’ll be sorry to see the range go, fingers crossed it ends on a high.

Part of me is annoyed because Daleks again but another part of me is excited because it's the Paradigm Daleks... That was exactly my reaction when I first saw the cover, until the penny dropped as to what Daleks were on the cover! I have wanted a proper Paradigm Dalek story as a follow up to Victory of the Daleks and this boxset looks like it is going to deliver!

Trailer and (Apparently) Updated Story Details Online and Due Out the 1st full week of February Regards mark687 I am SO TORN on this range.. Essentially using a "stand in" on someone that is still alive and actively working (so I have to believe there is a 1% chance of him coming onboard).
So all 6 are full cast? Do the stories really stretch and test 11th ?
I so want to buy them all in the cd bundle.. Something is holding me back..
ARGH!

These releases (from 'Geronimo' onwards - don't worry about the first two volumes) are incredible and epic. They are effectively a brand new series of 11th Doctor stories. A lot of character focused story telling with a brilliant new companion. Dudman is at his strongest doing 11 (as good as Treloar or Carley) and it feels authentic. While they may get Smith in one day, until then this is definitely worth the cost.

Vols 1 and 2 are standalone anthology boxsets, but 3-6 are A continuous series. There's also a bonus download-only episode that slots between 'All of Time and Space' and 'Everywhere and Anywhere'.

aussiedoctorwhofan GET THESE SETS!! These sets of 11 and Valarie are some of the best stories BF has done in years. Valarie is definitely the best BF original companion in quite a while. Highly, highly recommended. You won't be sorry.

Here's one last prediction: In "All's Fair", Hayden Lockwood tells the Doctor that Valarie fell out badly with the Doctor right before she left him and meet Hayden in Chicago, which of course led to her death. We know that the second story in this boxset, "Dalek Victorious", involves a Dalek invasion of Medrüth, Roanna's homeworld as in seen in "The Yearn". What if the Daleks succeed in their invasion? Killing Roanna, which Valarie blames the Doctor for, leading to her departure, and leading to the Doctor going on a grief-stricken rampage of revenge against the Dalek Paradigm in the final story, "Victory Of The Doctor", Which would explain the synopsis: "He told them to run. They should have listened"
