I don't get the joke. Why is Mark Gatiss playing Sam Kisgart, playing the Master? Way back in twenty-ought-three, when Sympathy for the Devil was released, Mark Gatiss was, in the grand tradition of the JNT era, credited with the above anagram. In fact, I think the credits on the BF website were only just changed. I could have sworn it had Kisgart, the last time I checked. Ah right, it credits Gatiss now, so I was confused.

I know Kisgart was Gatiss, but for the longest time, Fandom kept the gag going.

Well, I'm preordered as well. The previous titles were my favorites out the Unbound series so I'm all for more of them. I can't see that they'd do something radically different with the character of Benny though.

I am surprised by this. Would Big Finish have had to get the BBC's sign-off for this?
I thought Cardiff didn't want any more Unbound Doctor Who stories??
I haven't heard any of the Unbounds, so this release isn't exciting me.

Well if you ever do try them, I recommend those two, the Dalek one was especially good.

Maybe they approved it because it's happening within BF's other "cough and look the other way" series rather than a title of its own.

Normally i wouldn't purchase a non official Tv Doctor product but i loved David Warners interpretation of the Doctor & as this alternate Doctor ties into the official series I'm definitely getting this.
Huge fan of David Warner he creates memorable characters from Cuthbert - the Doctor.

Certainly a surprise... I'm sure I'll want to get this. I bought the Unbound series some time ago because they're a great value and because of the great cast but haven't heard them yet, I think at the time I was struggling with the normal continuity so I've still given highest priority to stories featuring that. I like very much that an "Unbound Bernice" release appears to bring the Unbound stories a lot closer to the normal continuity of DW stories and hope to hear at least several from the Unbound range before this comes out.

Huge fan of David Warner he creates memorable characters from Cuthbert - the Doctor. Surely we have enough Warner characters for him to have a release all to himself? alt-three, Newton and Mycroft Holmes versus Cuthbert and whatshisname from "Infernal Devices". guest starring Chancellor Gorkon....

"The Worlds of Warner" boxset. A series of linked tales featuring different people with unfeasibly similar voices. This needs to happen.

Get him to reprise his Jack The Ripper from Time After Time as well Jack versus Mycroft is the pre-title sequence action. And in the finale every single character is played by Warner and the dialogue gives absolutely no clues as to which of his characters is delivering each individual line.

Ohhhh, I'm looking forward to this. Hmm...I wonder if this means that the BBC's policy towards Unbound stories have changed?

I am REALLY looking forward to this one and I hope this is the gateway to more stories with David Warner's Doctor or possibly a revival of the Unbound series in general. There's a lot of potential to do things normal Doctor Who can't get away with!

I am hoping this will be good. I enjoyed the last couple of stories with David Warner but mostly because of his interaction with the Brigadier. Hopefully it will be just as good with Benny. It should be interesting to see how Benny gets sent to the Unbound Universe.

I love Benny's snarky comment about how often the Doctor's changing his face - because in the last couple of stories she's met the seventh, eighth and twelfth Doctors!
