My favourites were the complete X-Files on bluray from the other half and a bunch of Amazon vouchers. I'm trying to use those tactically. I've got the upcoming DW Series 9 bluray "free" effectively as well as the first couple of 4DAs of S5. I got a couple of bottles of Talisker and an 18 year old Glenmorangie which will sit gathering dust. I don't know why 3 people assumed I drink whisky when I can't stand the stuff. I guess being a Scottish Nationalist means peple assume certain things

God..here's where I prove I am actually a stereotype - I did get shortbread (love it!) and with Burns night only a week away there will be plenty of haggis getting bought!

I had two favorite gifts: - a Crock-pot (slow cooker)
- the complete Dark Shadows series on DVD
both items are already experiencing heavy use.

X-box games of Dragon Age 1-3, Halo games. Bit gutted i didn't get Alice Goodwin or Dani Levy, maybe they were lost in the post? dragon age 3 is just fantastic, such a brilliant storyline, I have clocked up 130 hours with 2 of the DLC I will get 3rd when got a free weekend or it goes on sale! best advice is don't rush the story, there is much more than main storyline to find. dragon age 1 was excellent, 2 not so good but still great storyline never had xbox so never played halo. yeah post is a bit of a bugger here too....I lots a £10 amazon to sticky finger posties....

I enjoyed playing Witcher 2 & Fable which is why he recommended Dragon Age games. I got Fable 2 & 3 & Kingdom of something RPG to play along with Rise of Tomb Raider, i recently completed Dead Island Riptide, Resident Evil 6 & Halo 3 so Dragon Age maybe next. 130 hours flipping eck.

You could just follow the main story thread and that will take you about 30 hours, but there is loads of side stuff to do, people to woo, alliances to build, dragons to kill.. dragon age 3 I think is bio wares best game, mass effect 2 still runs it a close second have you tried any of the batman games, arkham city is pretty good, and tomb raider Is a blast, bit envious that u got rise of tomb raider not out on ps4 till end of year! but then again, u have to like these interactive movie style games, I know many find them too slow with all the cut scenes and just want to blast n kill I think you might have kingdoms of amalur which gets a bit of a bad rap from reviewers, but I loved it, story was written by fantasy stalwart R A salvatore, it's enjoyable even if it don't push the gaming boundarys shadow over mordor is another good game, different take on the baddies, it's fun when you re-meet a Orc chief who killed you and wonders why you ain't still dead! And who would not want to meet gollum again even if it's just for a short time!

Yeah i loved the Arkham games & bit annoyed Arkham Knight didn't get a 360 release, I'm like you if i commit to a game i want to do everything. I loved Mass Effect trilogy until the ending which was a huge disappointment even the extended version didn't improve it any. Completed Shadow Of Mordor another great game & yes it's that game is called Kingdom Of Amalur. Is Sabatour any good?
