One of my principles is transparency. I have made the following changes: - Put spaces in the forum title
- Put Big Finish to the top
- You can now click a category to collapse it

Have you thought about receiving submissions for artwork for the top banner and logo? It'd be a fun way to engage people and give the forum something great as well.

I've just realised there are 11 other admins, so we need to collaborate. I'd like to keep this thread clear just for change notes. I am about to start lots of threads with ideas for the community!

More changes: - News marque
- Added some new categories - TV and other audio (more coming)
- New boards in new categories don't allow guests to post (it's a pain, you have to do it board by board!)
Planned soon:
- Simplify the choices under Big Finish - if it's not been used yet, it's going!

I have been doing some re-organisation, setting up new categories that guests can post to and moving threads around (hopefully leaving trails)

If nobody shouts I will collapse Big Finish down to far fewer categories. I am tempted to leave Blake's 7 and Dark Shadows alone, possibly Dorian. Thoughts?

Sounds good to me - I'd leave B7, Dark Shadows, Dorian (poss. Jago & Litefoot) on their own. The rest can be merged unless they start getting lots of posts.

The Benny forum had quite a bit, too. And Torchwood got kind of busy cause it was new. But we could also wait for a critical mass of posts before deciding that a topic needs it's own section. |

I think it's a good idea to keep Torchwood. Hopefully there will be much discussion with these coming out monthly for the past year.

I've changed the news ticker to point to the Community board. I can't make it point to more than one place.

I tried to change the TV section to TV/Film and then Other TV Shows to Other TV Shows/Movies but it doesn't seem to have worked.
We could possibly just add a movie category but I am not really sure if that is needed. However I do think there needs to be a dedicated place to talk about movies as there was always a lot of chatter about that on the old boards.

Banner name changed to Divergent Universe as per vote
Colour scheme changed to blue
Header changed to TARDIS blue
The colour changes are ahead of a competition for artwork / branding...

"General Discussion" and the "Off Topic Non Big Finish Discussion" (which were both under the General main category of the forum) were merged into one board, now called "Off Topic and General Discussion."
This was done because General Discussion was filling up with threads that had mostly been moved elsewhere, and the two boards seemed to have enough overlap to just make them one board.
