A bit early but I'm hoping BF release War Doc 2 early.
Aside from that looking forward to:
4DA Labyrinth of Buda Castle( Eddie Robson writing for 4th should be good)
MR Aquitaine (hoping it continues the MR upward trend)
TW Forgotten Lives (hoping that warps up the overall Arc in even a vaguely interesting way)
Regards

I see all the enthusiasm for Carnacki. It hasn't really grabbed me. Hmm. Maybe I need to rethink this.

Very excited for War Doctor, Torchwood 1.6 and Carnacki in particular. I have everything else pre-ordered too apart from Vienna which I'm not going to continue with and Pathfinders which I've also dropped (and may go back to at a later date).

I see all the enthusiasm for Carnacki. It hasn't really grabbed me. Hmm. Maybe I need to rethink this. They can't lose with those stories to adapt. Seriously. The original Hodgson stories - which BF are using - are very strong supernatural (though a couple of more grounded) mysteries. Like Holmes and Watson, they're told from the POV of the "companion" of Carnacki (usually a man called Dodgson) rather than Carnacki himself. He relays his latest adventure to them over dinner and that's how we hear about it. I assume this is going to be how BF do it too as it lends itself easily to the "Companion Chronicles" style and use of narration. One aspect of the character I really like is that Carnacki is often quite scared of what he finds out, in contrast to many other fictional detectives of the era. There's one in particular he can't wait to just get home I first got into the character thanks, as often, to Doctor Who. Andrew Cartmel's Foreign Devils novella from Telos (an incredibly underrated range of books) featured The Second Doctor meeting Carnacki. After that I sought out the original "books" only to find they fit in one small paperback. It was only reading the foreword I found out that Hodgson had been killed fighting in WW1 hence the small amount of works There's an episode of The Rivals Of Sherlock Holmes (a wonderful series) where Donald Pleasance plays Carnacki - an adaptation of The Horse Of The Invisible which BF are doing too I think it has the potential to be very special.

What I'm excited about
4DA: The Labyrinth of Buda Castle MR: Aquitaine War Doctor: Infernal Devices TW: More than This
February's 4DA release definitely tops my list, but it's hard to put the other two Who releases in order, since I'm very excited for both.

Thanks, David. You make this sound very interesting. I'm going to think about this a little differently now.

War Doctor v.2 tops my list followed by the monthly range, love those fellows Bernard & Morris and the 4th Doctor release, love that fellow Eddie Robson. Carnacki holds interest for me but not as a download only release.
