Bafflegab Productions is bringing back Robin of Sherwood. The Knights of the Apocalypse is based on an unused script by Richard Carpenter and will be full cast. It's being crowdfunded by indiegogo and reached it's target in the first day and has 8 days left. Has anybody funded it? What are you looking forward to? etc., etc.

That's awesome! I was never a fan of BBC's Robin Hood and I was hoping Big Finish would pick up Robin of Sherwood instead!

Enjoyed this series when I was a lad but it never captured my imagination, I am surprised by the response the crowdfunding campaign has garnered, clearly many others did have their imaginations captured, good luck to Bafflegag and all those involved. |

I enjoyed the Mysticism of it when I was a teenager, but stopped watching it after Michael Praed (I guess he was my Robin). I never got back into it when Jason Connery starred, but nostalgia beckons ...

Latest news: the producer of this audio drama has hired a company called "Spiteful Puppet Entertainment" to replace Bafflegab as his backroom staff. No doubt they will do an excellent job. (And what a great name!)

C'mon, enough of the pussyfooting around, we need the nitty gritty... what's the story with Bafflegab not being a part of Robin of Sherwood anymore? Bafflegab being part of this is what got me interesed in this project. So surely some spiteful puppet will spill the beans...  |

No idea, I'm afraid. Bafflegab did say this on their facebook page, though:
"I'm afraid I can't really go into why we've had to part ways. It's not something I wanted to happen - it took five years to get to this stage, so certainly wasn't a lack of commitment! - but was a decision forced upon us."
