Didn't know where to post this, so I'm starting a "Misc Dark Shadows Talk" topic.
Can't remember how the topic came up, but it turns out that when my great-great-great-grandfather came over from Prussia and settled in the New England area, the family name was Gravenor... And he was a right angry grump of a man, from what I hear...
I bet his biting humour is tooth funny to bear! One joke too many (so just one then) at Angelique's expense and she'll fly off the handle.
Of her broomstick!
(I'll go hide now)
You're the kind of person who tends to explain the joke, aren't you? Now where did I put that voodoo doll of Zagreus?
Did anyone bring up witch stereotypes (long warty nose, black cat, robes, potion cauldron, flying broomstick etc) in front of Angelique in the TV episodes, and if so, what punishments did she give them?
Be sure to check out the indexes for the various Big Finish ranges!
There's a Dark Shadows retrospective podcast called 'Dark Shadows: Into the Light' which has recently started (coming up to the third episode), which is about the original TV series, but has touched on the different offshoots including the BF audios. If you want to find it, it's at www.radioretropolis.com/, including interviews with cast and production people.
I'm into the Leviathan arc now on the series and one plus is the Blue Whale jukie is back
I completely misread that as Blue Whale junkie.
Co-writer of "Dark Shadows: Bloodline" available now. Writer of "Dark Shadows: The Curse of Shurafa", and 'Last Orders at the Blue Whale' on "Dark Shadows: Phantom Melodies".
CAVEAT: Any of my posts (except where otherwise stated) are my own subjective opinion. I'm not employed by Big Finish except on a contract basis. I'm just a massive fan of Dark Shadows who gets to fangasm and write about it from time to time.
