On the other end of the political over posting is Chris Pennock. While I understand having the ability to express one's political views and wanting to educate your fans, I already have enough politically active friends on both ends to keep me up to date on the latest reasoning from both sides, haha. Good old Chris Pennock. I may be a hypocrite hear but I can't see how any of his posts are that bad really, he tends not to demonise real people (I don't count Trump and politicians as such ) and seems reasonable with his posts/tweets. And there lies the rub, there is a mature way and an immature way to go about political tweeting... also there are immature political ideologies but I won't go into that here! Though this may just be because I do share a lot of the same political views with Mr Pennock...

I wonder if Kate Jackson has been approached about doing an audio. I can see from her IMDB she's done voice acting jobs.

Reading the liner notes (or whatever you call them) for Love Lives On On Cody Schell "He has written three previous Dark Shadows audios for Big Finish Productions: The Hollow Winds That Beckon, ...And Red All Over and the Scribe Award-nominated The Flip Side"
I don't recognise the first of those...

Do we have the titles for the next short story collection?

I'm intrigued!! Is this a Cody title yet to be released, postponed, or perhaps scrapped altogether?

Putting the "spoiler" tag there and getting my hopes up only to dash them against the brick wall--the one with the bricked up Reverend behind it! How quickly they become one of Joe and David's minions!! Teaser!!

I don't know what that story is but if I guessed what it might be and guessed correctly then I can honestly say that a lot of people around here are going to be very happy.

DS was just featured prominently in tonight’s episode of Outlander, with an actual clip from the show! One of the characters was watching a scene with Barnabas and Julia from 1968. Another character enters the room and says, “You’re kidding! Dark Shadows? What would your colleagues say if they knew you’re spending your time addicted to daytime television?” He answers, “Shhh! Barnabas just lost Victoria...Chris is worried he’s going to turn into the werewolf...and Elizabeth is terrified she’s going to be buried alive!”

The latest issue of SciFiNow (with Jodie Whitaker on the cover) includes an 8 (or 9) page section on Dark Shadows looking at the history of the show from conception to Big Finish

I was lucky enough to attend the National Space Centre event today, which was paying host to Doctors Who 5, 6, 7 and 8. Perhaps of interest to Big Finish Dark Shadows fans, Stuart Manning was signing some of his terrific artwork. I thanked him for the excellent DS audios he'd written, and I got the impression he could barely recall them! But he was appreciative of the comments and spoke highly of Alec Newman especially. I asked if he would come back to the range and he replied he was writing another Big Finish story, but I got the impression it wasn't for Dark Shadows. He said he'd stayed with Dark Shadows longer than he originally intended. I thought I'd mention this because Stuart was such a shining light in early audios. Lovely man!

I’m glad to hear he’s doing well! I had met him a few times at DS Fests and he was always lovely.
