Another thread resurrected.
I'm enjoying Lego Marvel's The Avengers so far, but I've got a couple of issues/concerns. The level order is interesting, but I'm not sure why it had to start with the opening for Age of Ultron, then go through The Avengers (with the first Captain America covered as a single level in that!). I know that TT are obviously trying to change up the formula the Lego games have adhered to, but there are better ways of doing so. Second point, it might be a bug, but during the level with the New York battle at the end of The Avengers, there's a bit where Black Widow is beating up a Chitauri in a Quicktime Event (QTE) that's going on forever. The implementation of the QTEs (first used in Lego Jurassic World) leaves something to be desired as well.

Last game I played was lego dimensions, with the Doctor who level pack. Good fun, but I'm not really in a game mood at the moment so didn't get far with it. Loved being Capaldi riding on the back of a special weapons dalek blasting everything in sight though.

Still on Fallout 3, just how big is this game? Massive, play it for a year. Unless you do only the main quest, then it's about 2 hours.

Devil May Cry 4. I'm out of practice... and was never really that good at it either...
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Ahhh, that's better.

Year this has the 5 DLC missions i just shot Desmond & this brain dude as both were w...ers then the boat guy as he was a spy carving out pieces of brian on Point Lookout. I'm very bad it says my character. I even shot everyone in Megaton after they served there usefulness Lol

Still on Fallout 3, just how big is this game? I've had the Game of The Year Edition since it came out, and I still haven't completed it, amazing game, it can suck up you spare time like a sponge. Fallout New Vegas is really good as well, but much more glitchy.

I got New Vegas to play, heard it had few glitches.

I've got the PS3 version and apparently when your size file gets to a certain size it becomes corrupted (I think it was something to do with the game engine being recycled from an earlier game, though New Vegas was rushed into development, there's loads of deleted stuff buried in the game code) just make sure you save it often.

Ah right, you should have less trouble with the freezing then (though both Fallout games are pretty buggy if you have long sessions on them), Broken Steel continues the game past the main storyline btw, and it's effected by you actions in the final mission, so you've still got lots more ahead of you. Hard to believe it's 8 years old this year!

So Broken Steel is the actual final part of the game.

So Broken Steel is the actual final part of the game. I think the main map for New Vegas is slighty smaller, but there's more content-the missions are bigger and longer, there's much more weapons, improved gameplay (i.e weapon mods, cooking, more skills etc) and more indoor locations, it dosen't feel as atmospheric or epic as 3 but it's still a solid game (it uses the same game engine, but it's made by the company who did the first 2). Broken Steel picks the game up a couple of weeks after the conclusion of the main game, I don't the game actually ends per se, but you should probably complete all the other missions first if you can.

Still got Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Legendary Edition to play yet. Ah, Skyrim that's even better (and better at soaking up spare time, I've had it since day one, I have hundreds of hours logged on it and I don't think I'll ever complete it, technically due to the way side missions are programmed the game is never ending...) after Ocarina of Time probably my favourite game, amazing scale, gameplay world building, atmosphere, shame that the graphics are a bit pants at times, and the missions get a bit repetitive.

The Consuming Shadow. Bought it a while back, but only just downloaded the Steam version with the free key-code.
It's a Rogue-like game, where each play-through is made of randomly-generated dungeons, and you have to search for clues to uncover an ancient spell, and use it to banish an Eldritch Abomination that's attempting to invade our reality.
Managed to actually get the best ending on my first go, although my character was physically and mentally exhausted by the end. I only managed to beat the final boss using drugs to counter-act my Sanity-loss, and fortunately I had found a side-spell that restored my health; I definitely would have died without that.
