Yep, that sounds good; count me in too... more horror on audio is always welcome.

Although I prefer sci-fi to horror, I'll give this one a try.

The price point for Carnacki seems a tiny bit high, when comparing to the download purchase values of the complete series options of Doctor Who: Short Trips Monthly and Dorain Gray. £3/$3 a story isn't an unreasonable amount to pay for these stories (if individually), but when purchasing a complete season, I'm more motivated to buy when a small discount has been applied. Moreover, I wouldn't be surprised if one of The Ghost Finder stories will be given away as a free sampler at some point, which would then effectively cost "a buyer" £3.60/$3.60 for each of its 5 remaining stories. The fact that I have *so many* other Big Finish and BBC audio story options to still get through; I'm on the fence about buying this Carnacki series. We shall see...

I am far too much a fan of Carnacki to let this go by. I'd love for BF to do original stories with him.

I hope these stories are narrated in the same style as the textbook horror "Dracula's Guest & Other Dark Tales"Which mixed in sound affects with the story telling.Still one of my favourites from Big Finish, highly recommended!

I'd have been very interested in this if BF were releasing on CD. I don't do downloads - I don't like paying for something intangible.

I'm making a slow conversion to DL only, some things I want physical of, but I can just keep affording it, so things I just want to listen, I get DL.

Yes it is just a matter of choice. Some people prefer the physical item CD or Boxset or whatever? Some of the collections posted on the old forum look fantastic! For me I am only interested in listening to the stories, therefore Downloads suit me.Each to their own.Downloads also are cheaper, which means I can buy more.

I love my physical collection, but US shipping and exchange rate is too much. I could order from other retailers, but I'm strangely loyal to the BF site.

Waiting for the trailer but leaning towards getting this since I have nothing else on order for February. Actually not familiar with this stories at all but they sound interesting. Edit: Except just realized War Doctor 2 is out in Feb so if I enjoy the first set this month will be ordering that too.

I'm physical copies all the way but when a range is DL only, I'm not going to cut off my nose to spite my face. The story is the be all and end all. Not a plastic box.

I'm very much on the fence about this. I don't know the characters or the stories at all and I prefer to have a physical item on my shelf. Perhaps if the series does well Big Finish will follow the pattern set by the Dorian Grey releases.

Well I am fine with DL only but this would be a total new range for me since I am not familiar with the source material and the price is sort of steep for that. But I expect Big Finish will do a free preview and if I like that maybe I will get it. And don't have much on the agenda for February. We'll see!

Its all 6 stories published before Hodgeson's death. I can't really stress how cool Carmack is. It's occult Detective that has him investimate haunting that some are teal, some are fake. It's pretty awesome. It is pretty much well set for a regular series. So I'm just going to beg people to buy it, so BF can make an on going Carnacki, the Ghost-Finder.

Yeah I am not saying the price is too high for what is included but it's too high to try out something completely new and well blind. Like I said if the trailer or even better a preview really gets me I might give it a shot but I need something to go on before spending $18.
