Loved this one. The banter with KLS always seems so natural. And, in this case, besides being entertaining, it has an important awareness story as well. Lovely job, Robert. I'll get the audio of LDatS when it's released. I love that KLS is reading it herself! Thanks Tracy, it was a special one to do - for more than one reason. And yes, there's something special about hearing people read their own words. I've heard some of LDatS - not had time to hear it all yet - and Kathryn really brings herself to it. I've also been listening to Matthew Waterhouse reading his next something too, and again it's a treat.

Thanks for another great podcast. It's great to hear about what actors are up to these days, and I loved the little Dark Shadows snippets. Thanks again for your amazing podcasts across the pond.

Keep us informed on Matthew's "next something", please! I have all his stuff and think he's a really great writer!

Another podcast going off shortly to Wallace at the CHS for posting up when possible - so up in maybe a day or two.
This one is well worth listening to... but then I would say that... (But it is, trust me.)

Wish he'd come back in some new incarnation! Let's pull a Don Briscoe and give him a younger brother that looks (or at least sounds) just like him. I'm sure there's no shortage of people who would have liked to pull Don Briscoe.

I'm sure there's no shortage of people who would have liked to pull Don Briscoe. Or Jon Marx, for that matter. Do we have any reason to hope he may return to DS at some point? Or Matthew Waterhouse. The Cunningham clan must have more unfortunate dabblers in the dark arts ready to cross paths with someone in Collinsport. Does Andrew have a twin brother who may try to disrupt the wedding? That would perfectly normal in the soap opera world. It'd also play into the Dark Shadows tradition of one actor playing a number of different roles (some characters have been played by a number of actors, like Vicki, Sam Evans and Burke Devlin).

I wouldn't describe any dabblers who pulled Don Briscoe as 'unfortunate'.

Hurrah - new podcast up! Hope you all enjoy. www.collinsporthistoricalsociety.com/2016/04/pocast-kathryn-leigh-scott-on-past.htmlKathryn Leigh Scott discusses the past, present and future of Dark Shadows. "2016 marks fifty years since DARK SHADOWS first aired on ABC, and ten years since Big Finish Productions began release of Collinsport audio adventures. Recently Kathryn Leigh Scott, star of both the original TV show and the audios, joined me for a chat with audio range producers David Darlington and Joseph Lidster to discuss her thoughts on those last ten years. Kathryn talks of the first Big Finish days in the studio stepping back into the shadows with her co-stars again, and of her most recent stories – how she took the lead in "Bloodlust" and how she got Mitch Ryan to come on board for the fiftieth audio adventure with the return of Burke Devlin in "…And Red All Over." She also looks back on her appearances in STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION and AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L D., and she remembers Lela Swift and Joel Crothers. Davy and Joe take the opportunity to tell Kathryn who she’ll be playing in the Fiftieth Anniversary Dark Shadows play, "Blood & Fire," and tell us some exclusives about "Bloodline" and beyond…"

The latest podcast is WONDERFUL! Such newsy bits from Joe, Davy and Kathryn...and FOR Kathryn, and us fans! Too "spoiler-ish" for me to mention any revelations here--you all need to listen to Robert's terrific work and hear them for yourself! I loved the news about "Blood & Fire", "Bloodline" and beyond! Also, the short clips throughout really showcase some banner DS-on-audio moments over the past ten years! What a run for those of us who have been there since the beginning in 2006. Thank you all for the respect for the original, and more importantly, the continuing saga of intrigue! I'm so glad that "Bloodlust" brought new DS listeners because that's what it's all about. Joe & Davy & Company have really kept us all relevant, and the future of DS looks bright. Thanks Robert--loved every minute!

Great podcast. Lovely to hear KLS's enthusiasm for the Big Finish productions and actually in the company of Joe and Davy too!
Love the teasers for Blood & Fire and Bloodline and reassuring the hear of the plans beyond this..

Really enjoyed this latest podcast interview. KLS remains adorable in every way, and the enthusiasm for the future of DS - and that it has a confirmed future - is great to hear. I won't be spoilering anything other than this: {Spoiler} I'm as excited about the proposed 'short-trips' stories as much as anything. I love the style of the early audiobooks, and look forward to a DS actor simply 'telling you a story'. Can't wait for it ... and the other many things mentioned too!

Say it often enough and it will stick.

No. Just no. To both of them!
(Although paz's suggestion had me just laugh out loud in the office so that was awkward.)

A very cool interview again from Bobod. It's nice to hear him be pleasant and polite to KLS. It's very different to the bitter, cruel, harsh man I know from FB
