Both Klein trilogies have been on sale at least once, but there are a bunch of Seventh Doctor, Ace and Hex stories that haven't been on sale, including some as old as 2008 and 2009. Yes I know the Klein Trilogy has been on sale in the past since I've been told that before but it hasn't been on sale since I started listening. It's been almost 2 years. Well I did get the first story in a sale. Meanwhile the Charley Pollard/Six Audios have been on sale twice since I joined. Not that I begrudge this. As for Seven/Ace/Hex random ones have been on sale but I definitely have huge holes. Edit: I think a sale to 125 or 135 may be more realistic. Up to 150 may be to big of a jump after 100. Last fall I finally gave up on waiting for the 7/Ace/Hex audios to go on sale. I had placed all my hopes on Sylvester's birthday sale in November, but when that didn't make the cut I finally bit the bullet and bought the three I needed at full price. I think that they are the only MR stories I've ever bought at full price. I'm actually glad I did because they were very good, and if I hadn't I'd still be waiting for a sale. They really do need to put those stories on sale.

They really do need to put those stories on sale. I bought a few MR titles that weren't on sale too but there is so much I want to buy not just from the MR. Unfortunately I can't afford to buy it all at full price. The thing is I have a backlog of things to listen to at the moment so I will wait for a little bit longer....

I'm only missing 5 from shortly after 100, and before the trilogy. (I have 2 blocks of twelve left afterwards, but I need at least one more sub, so I can get five companions...
Forty-Five Kingdom of Silver Death Collectors Dark Husband Absolution
It annoys me that absolution has not gone on sale...

Honestly, can we PLEASE get a discount week for 101-200? I'd settle for 101-150.

Add me to the list of those (im)patiently waiting on Absolution to be on sale. It's the only 8th Doctor story I don't have.
As my main range listening is only in the 50s just now though I'm still a long way from needing this story. A 101-125 sale would be welcome to let me get the 4 titles I'm missing. I need 15 between 126 and 150 and just 6 between 151 and 175. Until I bought the super sub every main range purchase had been at just a fiver.
The vast majority of my BF collection has been bought through sales. Given the relative frequency of sales and my massive listening backlog I feel little incentive to go purchasing titles from years ago at full price. I've very few gaps in the main range to even fit in a sub between 101 and 200 now too, so even more incentive to just keep on plugging gaps through sales.
I'm also hoping/expecting a Blake's 7 sale at some point soon with the second series at a fiver and all Liberator Chronicles at £15. Photos posted after the recent BF day showed those titles at those prices then so I'm awaiting that offer being open to all, and again that means no incentive to pay full price.
I will at some point buy at least one 12-title main range sub though - most likely of the stories coming out this year leading up to the start of the super sub that I have already paid for - as it's the only way to get the Five Companions, the one bonus release I'm missing.
I do sub to Torchwood and buy new box sets from the various ranges at full price when released but increasingly am reconsidering that given that a recent sale put on offer items that I paid full price for last year but hadn't even listened to yet.

Very excited that I bought Live 34 and The Harvest, Really excited about Hex. Since it's also in the first 100 as a Hex fan I also strongly recommend The Settling.

I think i'm gonna get Wormery and Scherzo. So that once I've completed the first 50 i can then do a 12 sub and complete the Divergent Arc in one go,

I actually did end up getting a couple I didn't have: bought Year of the Pig & Valhalla (the second for Michelle Gomez ) A very unusual duo! I'd be curious to know what you think on them. Both are definitely 'love it or hate it' kinds of titles. Year of the Pig is best appreciated if you like slower, more relaxed stories, while Valhalla... Well, it's Marc Platt (Ghost Light), . I love Valhalla, but a lot of people hate it, so I'll leave the commentary brief. It's a strange one, as to be expected from Platt, but does a nice job offering a story with an 'older' Seven near the end of his regeneration.

I will try to remember post my thoughts when I listen to them. I am actually backlogged with MR releases (ironic when I keep asking for sales to buy more). I may do a double feature soon with Year of the Pig and Ish (another MR release I have not heard yet).

Literatedead - an honourable mention for 'Ish', which i thought was brill. A murder mystery with a difference, and a very lush production and soundscape. Report back with your thoughts when you get round to it.
Back on track re this thread; i got another two with The Wormery and Arrangements for War

I bit the bullet and got the super subscription. X.X It's such a good deal if you are a main range, long term customer so I rounded up the cash and did the deed. Will definitely be glad in the long run to have done it. My pre order page just goes on and on now!
