I am very pleased to see Sheridan back with Big Finish. I did wonder if she ever would. I actually saw the announcement elsewhere on the web with said "Sheridan Smith and Paul McGann back together" which was misleading, but the fact she is still keen to return to the character must make the prospect a possibility. Perhaps 2018 with be the year of revisitations for the Eight Doctor. Two boxsets of missing adventures would be very welcome. I'd say with McGann's schedule that Big Finish will most likely probably going to keep things moving forward. It doesn't stop however having a 'period' adventure on a box set which pertains to the rest of the story, however. I know I am being optimistic hoping for missing adventures, however I would be happy with some Companion Chronicle style releases for the companions of the Eighth Doctor. I like your idea of a past adventure appearing in a newer box set. I have only though about Doctors meeting their earlier incarnations. It would be really interesting to hear both the early Eighth Doctor and his later version in the same production. We guess we had a small taster of that in Mary's Story. I wonder if Paul would relish being both the main star AND the guest star in the same box set!?

Browsing the wiki earlier, apparently in 'The 100 Days Of The Doctor': The Sixth Doctor and Evelyn observe two Eighth Doctors, Charley Pollard, C'rizz and Lucie Miller in an American frontier town in the 1870s, displaying the fact that the Eighth Doctor met Lucie prior to her first meeting with him in AUDIO: Blood of the Daleks. It is unknown whether the Eighth Doctor remembered this event. I haven't listened to that story, and as a 100th special it may perhaps have been written as a non canocial special, but Charlie and Lucy in the same story would be fascinating...

I wouldn't say it's non-canonical but more than anything it's a reference to Big Finish's output at the time. Six and Evelyn meet Ace and Hex with Seven and Peri and Erimem with Five (the main arc companions at the time) but both the EDAs and the Charley-C'rizz stories were going on for Eight, so Six sees both. They even visit a Bernice Summerfield dig, see an alternate Doctor to riff on the Unbound range and mention how strange it is that they haven't seen the first four Doctors (as BF hadn't done the CCs and LSs yet).

I miss happy Eight Me too. I loved this trailer. Especially Sheridan's 8th Doctor. I'm so happy for this.
