So I was looking on the Big Finish Website and saw their article in the about section about the subscriber short trips and I was thinking about maybe getting some subscriptions to get some as I am really enjoying the short trips range and I was just curious everyone's favourites and if there are any that you need previous knowledge of different stories to completely understand and apreaciate it. Thank you for taking time to read and hopefully answer my question. (P.S Here is the link to the short trip page on the website www.bigfinish.com/pages/v/doctor-who---subscriber-short-trips)

The subscriber short trips (I've not listened to all) are completely stand-alone as far as I can tell. I just reviewed the 2015 releases redrocketrising.com/2016/02/subscriber-short-trips-2015-reviewed/ and should be reviewing the 2014 releases soon. If you like the Short Trips then these are fine, though the 2014 are a bit shorter than the more recent ones. There seems to be a bit of a trend of Subscriber Short Trips writers moving through to become Short Trips writers as well. An example is Alice Cavender who did Caves of Erith (A Lucie Miller 2015 story) and now wrote the Short Trips Lucie Miller release advertised at the weekend.

Some of my favorites are Late Night Shopping, A Room With No View, Waiting For Gadot, Lepidoptary for Beginners and Museum Peace. None of these needs any pervious knowledge except for Museum Peace. It works much better if you have heard any of the Dalek Empire series. Enjoy!
