After seeing the thread querying whether BF would do any audios, I remembered this thread so I thought I'd come in here and rave about how much I enjoyed the most recent episode of SHIELD. I'm watching at US pace so no spoilers but damn, that was an amazing episode. I get the feeling from interviews that it sounds like they're more or less wrapping things up and rewarding the long-term fans of the show, so I'm expecting it to be cancelled/come to an end after S4, which is a shame. I know the DVR numbers bump up the ratings but I don't think the networks in the US take those into consideration, but I'd like to see a fifth and final season.
If it does end this season, at least it's going out on a high.

Hmmm... I kind of liked Agents of SHIELD, then it started dragging around Season 3 and my interest waned...
Also, the Marvel Netflix shows Daredevil and Jessica Jones came along and blew Agents of SHIELD out of the water, and showed how good Marvel TV shows could be!

Oh, yeah, Season 3 kind of dragged for me too. Which is saying something because I enjoyed the show from day one, even when everyone criticised the first few episodes. I wasn't that into the first half of season 3, aside from Simmons's storyline, but I kept up with it anyway and I ended up enjoying the second half of that season more than the first. That being said, I think Season 4 has improved - I think they've got the pacing down this season, and the storylines are more interesting.
I really enjoy the Netflix shows too. I haven't got around to watching Luke Cage yet, though.

Anyone else looking forward to Legion on Fx starring Dan Stevens (Matthew Crawley, Downton Abbey)? I can't wait, although I love all things X-Men!! And a certain Mr Selby is in it too How do you like it? It's very trippy, and quite hip/retro cool. I love the look, and I think it has the makings of a great show! It's definitely got it's own feel, very different from the other X-Men stuff...and that's part of the appeal. They don't all follow the same bible-- Deadpool proved that!

I think it's cool. It's like Wes Anderson and Nic Refn teamed up to make it. Very quirky and offbeat. I can imagine a lot of fans of other comic shows not taking to it but what it does bring to the table is a refreshing change. Looks stunning, the cast is solid, the pacing is measured...I'm not sure this kinda show gets multiple seasons but I'm enjoying it while its here.

I had referenced it as "Wes Anderson directs a Lynch script for supers" but Refn works too.

Mahershala Ali's character was much better.

Disappointing that Black Bolt doesn't have his comic book outfit.

The "official" costume in Luke Cage was nicely funny.
