Stupid, fun, I'd argue it's So Bad It's Good territory Worth hearing for David Tennant's other Time Lord role, and his Time Lord crony - they're easily the best things about Exile. I would not go as far as using the words "worth it" and "best" in the same sentence as "Exile".... But I agree, the two timelords really are the better bit in there.
Come to think of it- you know what these two ambling timelords remind me of? Anybody know Bertolt Brecht "The good person of Szechwan"? With the two stupid gods ambling around? (my German teacher in scholl was a fan of Brecht, so we learned everything about him)
This is where they got it from! Well, I like it when BF does literary pastiches... but since it took me so long to actually realize this, I am not sure I should give points for that.

Wonderful day outside- went back home to my parents and I hope to spend a couple of hours in the hammock outside, listening to the next two stories in the 10th Doctor Volume 3. Since I loved the first story, really looking forward to the next two.

Revisiting 10DAs Volume 1 before Volume 3 Technophobia A nice return to the RTD era with a rather menacing concept and the Doctor and Donna’s dynamic recaptured.

I'm curious to know your opinion about it I find it quite fun to be honest. Yes it's daft but I like it. I enjoyed it as a Dr Who spoof I preferred it to Curse of the Fatal Death as Exile felt more affectionate with it's mocking

The Harvest - squelchy acid house soundtrack and oh so slick production. The cover and story are pretty good too. A very high 8 out of 10.

The Monsters of Gokroth - a mixed bag for me as I'm not really in to monster voices, but I liked elements of it. An initial 6 out of 10 but I'll go back to it at some point.
I'm inclined to try The Dark Flame again, but I know what will happen...

The Moons of Vulpana
I began this one feeling uncertain as to could be done with werewolves that hadn't already been done to death. I did read the 8th Doctor novels that went on a bit on that point.
But this story was delightful.

During my break at work today, I finished off 'The Invaders From Mars', a fun 'little' Halloween story to kick-off Paul's second series! I will admit though that, with my (admittedly want-to-be) writers' hat on that there are some changes I'd make to this story in the years since I first heard this story in secondary school...

The Harvest - squelchy acid house soundtrack and oh so slick production. The cover and story are pretty good too. A very high 8 out of 10. Still sounds fresh despite being over 15 years old... Scary how close we are getting to the actual date the story is set. Interesting premise and does something with the Cybermen for a change - the idea of them hiding in a hospital is so commonsensical, it is strange that it's never been done before (or since). Did get the European Government wrong though (I do get why they went for this angle due to the political events at the time). Episode 1 is An Unearthly Child for the 21st Century. Pretty much a template for lots of 'first' episodes now (look at the new series - Rose, The Woman Who Fell to Earth, etc.) One of the best McCoy releases IMHO.

The wonderful Katy Manning. The Panda Invasion and the Doll of Death. I just love her and hope to meet her one day on a convention.

So my brother just messaged me.. in "Fanfare For The Common Men", our hometown is mentioned (Adelaide, Australia) by "Ringo".. Interesting to note that when the Beatles came to Australia Ringo didn't play as he was sick, they had a replacement.. We have some relatives who were at 1 of the shows here. They used to do 1-3 shows a night at only 30 mins long from what I was told. Just think it's awesome that we are "represented".. other than the other fact of being the home of serial killers.. That kinds sucks !

Back to the early days... Last of the Titans - engaging and finally very sad story; Sylvester McCoy's 'old solo Seven' is always excellent and makes this short tale rather special. The Ratings War - lol! Bitingly funny and scarily accurate prophecy of where British TV was heading! Colin Baker brilliant as ever with Sixie in 'a medium where I can express myself' And his cuddly-wuddly co-star awww how cute... {Spoiler}ARRRAGH my arm! So that's where the Beep the Meep song comes from!

Over the past couple days: Terrahawks: Brilliant series. I hope they eventually come back to it somehow. Even just a quick hour/two-hour finale to resolve that cliffhanger The Third Doctor Adventures Volume 1: It's a slow start and the narration doesn't do much for it.

Second time around with Primord so far. Another Dorney masterpiece. The only way the Third Doctor Adventures could feel more complete now is if in the next set we get a surprise visit from the Master.
Besides that, also listened to No Place and One Mile Down - really enjoyed both! Series 4 was always the best of the Tennant seasons and so far all the stories set in that era on audio have been pretty great. I'm looking forward to getting to The Creeping Death sometime soon.
