My latest listen: The Movellan Grave. I vaguely remember the Movellans from televised Doctor Who. And I've read some books in which they appeared, apparently.
In any case, I did enjoy the story.

Survivors Series 2. Spoilers ...
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, these stories are so good, it really saddens me there'll be no more full-casts. I've revisited Series 2 less often than Series 1, 3 and 5. These odd numbered sets featured more of an obvious villain, someone you could be pretty sure would be the returning character throughout (similarly with a central character from Series 4). In this second box-set, it isn't quite as obvious who is behind the atrocities being committed, or even exactly what the atrocities are.
{Spoiler}
The splendid Bernard Holley, his wonderfully reassuring voice twisted and guttural, is excellent as the cannibal George Ridley.
This character, like all the best evil-doers, feels fully justified in what he does. Greg feels fully justified in being horrified - but who is to say what any of us would do given the circumstances? A terrific moral dilemma.
Like The Blair Witch Project all those years ago, screams of unbearable human suffering echoing through the trees is guaranteed to give me the chills. This set is full of that kind of audio nightmare and it works brilliantly. One of the purest horror stories under the Survivors banner, this second series is just brilliant.

Just listened to Blood of the Daleks part 1, my first ever Lucie Miller audio! So far she reminds me of a teenaged northern Donna Noble😄 Have those two ever met in audio? I feel like they would get on like a house on fire!

Two Torchwood audios for me tonight. Cascade etc was ok, but not as good as I expected. Fall To Earth, by contrast, is just brilliant.

Nothing to See Here from the New Counter Measures.
Sometimes you need to go back to a story or be in the right mood when you listen, but this was more enjoyable this time. 7 out of 10.

Two Torchwood audios for me tonight. Cascade etc was ok, but not as good as I expected. Fall To Earth, by contrast, is just brilliant. What is this Torchwood people keep chatting about 🤪😉 I got a few of the "fun" releases of the monthly range and some of them are quite good/ fun. I liked the Green Life and Serenity for example. And Jack together with Colin was awesome, but that might just be because Colin could turn anything into gold.
For all the warnings about "this is not for the kids", it is much tamer than I had expected.
I am however not sure I could handle any of the darker and more graphic or "full on" Torchwood releases at the moment, however good everybody else says they are. All in all, for someone like me who had avoided Torchwood for a long while, I still try to keep an open mind.
You will also crack sooner or later.
Mark my words. (Evil laughter in the background).

Moving ahead with a re-listen to Destiny of the Doctor and just finished The Stones of Vengeance. All excellent stories thus far, and as an added bonus the Easter Aquhorthies and Loanhead of Daviot sites actually exist.

Let me know if it holds up when compared to the new fangled flashy production (which I really want btw) None of those early audios sound as slick as would soon become the norm but as a concept and a production, Whispers holds up better than a lot of them. It remains one of my favorite 6th Doctor audios.
