Sontarans v Rutans 3 Born to Die
Excellent again. 3/3 so far, I'm loving this series and will be sorry when it ends.

I've been saving this set for quite a while, and now I've finally begun.

6DAs: The Quin Dilemma (one episode per day)
1: The Exaltation. Fun start, Mel spots the inevitable just like we would - even if we hadn't read the blurb from BF.

2: Escape From Holy Island. Well so that was a most unexpected episode in multiple ways! Not reading the cast list and details is paying off. Excellent episode.

Purgatory 12
This is my first try of 4DAs actually trying to recapture the classic format…and blimey I need to get more into these. It’s a pitch perfect recapture of the best of Season 18 mixed with a refinement of the character drama. Framing the Doctor and Romana as adoptive parents struggling to adapt to Adric works wonderfully and Adric himself is still the irritating teen of TV, but with hindsight we’re given more insight into why he is this way. And K-9 makes a friend!
I must admit the exact ins and outs of the monster did lose me towards the end, but the concepts are suitably mad enough and character drama interesting enough that I didn’t mind.

6DAs: The Quin Dilemma (one episode per day)
3: Sibling Rivalry. Another episode, another big surprise. Or a lot of smallish surprises, depending on how you look at it. I wasn't expecting them!
Loving the tone of this set and one of my favourite TARDIS teams back in action in this one, hurrah! And I didn't even know they were in this particular episode - it's like opening an Easter Egg each evening and who knows what I'll find inside.

9DAs: Ravagers
My very first Ninth Doctor audio (and it's taken me a while hasn't it!), very timey-wimey indeed and made for an involving listen while I was cleaning the yard! Place the mind in neutral and head off with the Ninth Doctor... I do like long stories and this was classic six-parter length, enjoyed it a lot.

4: Children of the Revolution. Who knew civil war, invasion and revolution could be this much fun?! Two splendid Companions, my favourite audio Doctor and an excellent guest villain played by a very familiar and always brilliant voice doing another variation-on-a-theme. (I didn't know they could have twirlable moustaches, but I'm sure this one did! )

Picked up my chronological run through of Dorian Gray Series 1-4:
1939: Murder on 81st Street A fairly simple monster of the week story made lively through Dorothy Parker’s inclusion.
1940: The Houses In Between A good supernatural tale against the backdrop of the Blitz.
1947: Frostbite An intriguing little tale.
1949: The Living Image A story of Dorian building a careful house of cards which leaves you waiting to it to come crashing down. And it does in inevitably dramatic fashion.
