This morning I've watched Flatline and In The Forest of the Night. Two cracking stories in my opinion. In the forest of the night is an underrated story, no it’s not perfect, but I think the trees taking over London is an interesting premise and I love the fairytale aesthetic!😊

The first half is great. As soon as they "explain" (make up hokus pokus to explain the plot), things go south I am afraid. There is only so much disbelief I can suspend. This is on the same level as the one with the moon.

I watched Morbius so much when I was younger. I wore out my VHS copy and had to replace it. One of the greats. Has an awesome classic horror movie vibe.

It isn't universally loved but it ticks all the boxes for me.

One of the greats. Has an awesome classic horror movie vibe. Very much so. DW does Hammer! Can't you just imagine Phil Madoc's Solon in a Jimmy Sangster/Terence Fisher movie? Would be amazing.

Currently watching 'Battlefield' on Blu-ray. It seems the Doctor did become Merlin in the future. 'The Hobbit' film trilogy is proof of that! Tim.

Last night I watched Dark Water and Heaven sent. Brilliant finale and excellent performances all round.

I remember when the first pictures of Sylv as Radagast went around, someone on Tumblr cleverly paired them up with River's "I hate good wizards in fairy tales, they always turn out to be him."

Yesterday I watched 'The Space Museum' part 4 & the first two episodes of 'The Chase', which is, you know, what normal people watch on their day-off from work, right? Oh...
I'm getting in the bath shortly and am probably going to watch part 3 (and maybe 4) to start unwinding after a loooong day.

Carnival of Monsters. Still entertaining after all these years.

Carnival of Monsters. Still entertaining after all these years. If you look up the word Romp in the dictionary, there's gotta be a screenshot from Carnival. (It's probably a picture of Jon Pertwee addressing a chicken.)

Watched Fugitive of the Judoon - most excellent! Also watched The War Games again, probably just wanted to see if I could spot a brief glimpse of Troughton turning into a woman, lol, but I really enjoyed that, it's quite the epic. Tried to watch while putting a bookshelf together though, and things might have gone better with the bookshelf if I hadn't been trying to watch TV at the time. :-)

Before going out this evening I finished off the last two episodes of 'The Chase' and, you know what? I think I actually enjoyed it this time (though the fact that I watched it across three evenings probably helped)!
'Now that I'm home, I'm winding down for the night over the first half of 'The Time Meddler'...

A warm bath, a glass of Jack Daniels & the second half of 'The Time Meddler', a wonderful way to wind down for the night on a Friday evening...
As today is it's 50th, before bed I'll also be watching part one of 'The Silurians'.
