I listened to the first Churchill Chronicles last night and got kind of nostalgic so I went back to the new beginning and watched Rose.

Revisited The Eleventh Hour. It's still my favorite modern "post-regeneration" story. I also recently started watching the Sarah Jane Adventures, starting with the pilot episode, Invasion of the Bane. Really enjoyed it!

Watched the first two episodes of Enlightenment with my hubby. (We decided to skip the second two episodes of Terminus, since he didn't find it that interesting, and I just told him the salient points he had missed.)

Curse of the Black Spot. I don't get why people don't like it, I thought it was great, and if Churchill can have a boxset, surely Cap'n Avery could.

Since I can't stream Doctor Who anymore, I've had to resort to what I own on DVD. I'm watching Reign of Terror right now.

The Magician's Apprentice on "The Doctor's Notes". During the scene between Clara and Missy in the square with the snipers there's a pop-up that says," Before she was Missy, Michelle Gomez appeared in the audio drama Valhalla with Sylvester McCoy."

My husband and I watched The Kings Demons yesterday. I forgot how lame that episode is. Today, we got partway through The Five Doctors.

Last night we watched The Frontier of Space. Long but a classic story. Planet of the Daleks tonight.
Cheers

The Nightmare of Eden is... Not as bad as I remember it actually. The merged ships, drug smuggling and Mandrels keep the whole story moving at a pace and it's nice to see a driven Doctor in the Season 17 silliness.
I have a theory that you can find at least one good line or exchange of lines in a sub-par story. "The profits of human suffering," earns it for The Nightmare of Eden.

I've got a bit of a soft spot for Nightmare of Eden. The merged ships thing is imaginative (I bet the props team had fun making the model) and the aspect of sections of worlds being transported via the CET machine is well-realised. The passengers are wearing the oddest transit get-up though.
