With todays news of the Cybermen Series Re-issue on boxset, it means 2016 will have "new" releases in every BF Produced Spin-off (bar Dalek Empire and Iris) so as a impartial observer with no interest in them (bar the Doctor's appearances in J&L some questions for those of you that do.)
Which are you looking forward to most?
Which would you trade in for new Dalek Empire or Iris?
Would you trade any in for more Doctor led Ranges (which ones would you trade in?)
Would you trade in a Doctor led Range for a yearly spin-off Range (which would you trade in and for what?)

I'm a big fan of Gallifrey and have enjoyed Dalek Empire, Unit, and River Song immensely. I will continue to collect all of these. I also have Sarah Jane Smith bought and ready to be listened to as soon as I can make time for it. I think the current balance Big Finish has is working well in terms of offering a variety of ranges across the Doctor Who line. I don't personally have any need for the Doctor to be in everything, though I know some people collect only Doctor appearances. My thought is that everyone winds up drawing the line somewhere. Big Finish has so many ranges that I'd be surprised if somebody followed every single one of them. Comics are a similar example. There are so many that it's hard to keep up with everything so you have to just pick the ones you're most interested and satisfied with.
I wouldn't be willing to say "X should be cancelled to make room for X" simply because, in my experience with fandoms, every character is someone's favorite, no matter how big or small. I would never rob any fan of a range that featured their favorites. I do confess, of course, to being the most excited about the ranges that I mentioned, but it's a big universe, which is one of the things I like about Doctor Who and about Big Finish, who have developed many interesting corners of that universe extremely well.

I think that's a terrific answer. Personally, my favorite spin offs are Dalek Empire, I, Davros, J & L, Torchwood. I also wouldn't want to trade one range for more of another, however I would really love another Dalek Empire series.

The only spinoffs I've been following are Jago & Litefoot, Torchwood, and The Diary of River Song. I've enjoyed all three. I'm debating whether or not to buy the new UNIT series, the Counter-Measures series, and the Dalek Empire releases.

Which are you looking forward to most? Benny in The Unbound Universe. By far. The Nu-Who material has been hit and miss so far. With the hits not exactly home runs.
Which would you trade in for new Dalek Empire or Iris? Vienna. The only BF range I don't buy any more. 8 stories with her and I didn't warm to it, find it fresh or think it added anything at all.
Would you trade any in for more Doctor led Ranges (which ones would you trade in?) No. There's enough BF to go round without raining on the parades of others who may love ranges I don't.
Would you trade in a Doctor led Range for a yearly spin-off Range (which would you trade in and for what?) I would say the mostly quite poor Novel Adaptations but it doesn't seem like they're going much longer anyway.

For me, the New Counter Measures and The Avengers comic adaptations are the most anticipated spin-offs on the horizon.
I dont think any range should be ended but River Song vol 1 just didnt do it for me. I quite fancy the Churchill range, am not too fussed about the war doctor, but did think the new Unit box set was excellent.
I will probably buy the Cyberman box set.
ljwilson = a pick and choose Big Finish fan
Ps - sorry Mark, im not sure i answered the questions

My thoughts..
Which are you looking forward to most? * Benny Season 3 * Jago & Litefoot Vs. The Master is going to be EPIC! * UNIT II - if as good as box-set 1 it will make me very happy! * New Counter Measures
Which would you trade in for new Dalek Empire or Iris? * Graceless (Haven't heard the box-sets, most people seem unsurplused by them, however I liked their story in THe Worlds Of Big Finish box)For more Iris * Cyberman, will get the new priced box-set but would gladly exchange it for another Iris boxset * Vienna - Love her but, again if it was her or Iris, Iris would win - Hand down!
Would you trade any in for more Doctor led Ranges (which ones would you trade in?) The three above
Would you trade in a Doctor led Range for a yearly spin-off Range (which would you trade in and for what?) No

What makes you say that? the standard Big Finish response when asked is that they have no plans for any more after number 11. That could just be standard cover though. my guess is they'll announce more as and when they're ready.

They got the "no further plans" answer in Vortex. Also, with NuWho joining, there has to be concession. There just cant be the same amount of audio ever increasing.

Oh! Forgot about the New Adventures of Benny! I'm really looking forward to that! David Warner's Doctor is absolutely fantastic and I'm very happy to hear he'll be returning! It helps that I really enjoyed the last two volumes as well.
To be honest, though, I found it a bit difficult to view the first two box sets as a spinoff series since it features the Seventh Doctor so heavily...

I haven't heard any of them. To be honest the only one I find at all interesting is Jago and Litefoot, but I haven't even picked up Mahogany Murders yet. I'm not made of money lol!

I have to have them all, if they are doctor who related, then i'll end up getting them, that's just the way I am. I been working on every issue of Marvel since FF1 for 35 years now, i'll never finish it, but i'll keep working, and it's the same with BF doctor who and related stories. My nightmare, is that they do a doctor who crossover with other series, for that would drive me insane, having to buy all the old stories that never mentioned the doctor before, but I'm much like Sheldon Cooper in this, I can't jump on at episode 143, I have to watch or listen to the previous 142...Dang OCD!

I love Benny most of all and look forward to any new Benny releases. Have really been enjoying Gallifrey. Would love to see more Dalek Empire. Am definitely planning to get the Cyberman set. Have only heard a little Jago and Litefoot and Iris Wildthyme, but enjoyed them both (in spite of not being a fan of Iris in the novels. Katy Manning is a hoot as Iris. ) I've heard the other Doctor Who spin-offs that are included in Worlds of Doctor Who; they sound intriguing and would enjoy hearing more, when I get caught up on my other listening. Haven't been that taken with Vienna, and while I enjoyed Charlie with the Eighth Doctor, I'm not really interested in her series right now.
