That will teach me to read the posts more carefully - bad day . I wonder if it was deliberate not to have one this time or if they hadn't decided on series 13 at the time it was recorded? Cheers Tony

Cheers Tony It probably makes sense now for them not to take the risk of leaving a loose end if it turns out impossible to get the cast back for a follow-up set.

Surely the cliff-hangers are recorded as part of the follow on series? I am waiting for series 12 boxset, but if you say no cliff-hanger then maybe series 13 was not recorded in time to add a cliff-hanger to series 12?
Or… reading the synopsis for series 13, that one is about time travel? Maybe thanks to some timey-wimey-nonsense, Jago & Litefoot have already resolved the cliff-hanger before it happened, and it has faded from history.

I think David Richardson in the extras for series 12 said Justin Richards had written a cliffhanger but they didn't use it because he decided on end on a positive upbeat note instead.

I expected when it referenced Jagos watch being wrong for it to end with him walking past a familiar grandfather clock Stopping to set the time saying I don't recall that clock and being kidnapped by the master Then I realised the reason I thought that was a previous Master Dr Who story

I'm living in hope for a ''Jago & Litefoot and Strax Too'
Given how perfect vol1 was The only difficulty would be how to convolute Strax appearing again But that would be the challenge for David Richardson et al
If it were easy we all could be writers for Big Finish !!!
Maybe they can go with their original idea (or a twist thereon) before the Cardiff Dr Who idea of Strax's vision of Jago & Litefoot really are
