Would it help if I went back in time to stop myself making that comment, and instruct my past self, when he reaches this point in time, to go back and deliver the same message? That would avoid a paradox, although the idea is still out there to tempt fate with. I'm lucky I downloaded it when I did. For all who can't get onto the website to do just that: it'll still be there when the website it back up and you are in for a treat! I think @toaau might appreciate that ... Finished Technophobia and thoroughly enjoyed it (even though I thought Catherine wasn't quite the same Donna I remember). David is superb, it's like he's never been away and the music is so reminiscent of the era too. In fact I was trying to get on the website to see who had done the music when I noticed it was down. Cheers Tony EDIT: Can anyone download through the BF app, or has the server in general gone into meltdown? I can't even log in using the Android App, so the whole kaboodle could have gone into meltdown. Howard Carter did the music. He's dependably excellent in what he produces.

Cheers, I thought it might have been. It really is excellent and he manages to make it sound like Murray Gold without being "over the top" (no offence intended to either Carter or Gold ). Cheers Tony

I heard about that and it just sounds like the standard documentary about Big Finish they've done on other releases such as The Toy (no offence intended to any Big Finish staff on here of course as I'm sure they put hard work into these documentaries). If just the announcement of this was able to crash the site, something only previously achieved by the actual release of Dark Eyes and Light at the End (the latter a month early!), then there will be lots of people coming to Big Finish through this. The documentary will be very helpful in giving some background to Big Finish as well as giving pointers for other releases newcomers may want to try. It's a shame Big Finish aren't endorsing a forum for these people. I can try get a plug for Divergent Universe in somehow, in an e-mail to the podcast perhaps, but I'm not sure how successful that will be. The website hasn't gone down yet, touch wood. It would be better if they just had it a complimentary download for first purchases in my opinion rather than actually in a set.

Oh well. I set my alarm clock to get up early in order to download it before getting ready for work. <sigh> I guess I'll try tonight when I get home. Glad to see all the positive responses though.

Glad I downloaded this morning, but the website crashing at atleast a good sign of massive interest, or at least massive for BF.
Technophobia was a great start to this set of stories. Tennant soudns perfect, after about 5 mins you forget this is his first Audio as the Doctor. I think his previous audio work help as he seems a little more comfortable in the role than Tate, but not by much. After hearing Alex Kingston in her stories I was worried that Tate would sound similarly 'Confused', but she soon settles back into the character.
The story was fun, with a great use of the Sonic Screwdriver and Psychic paper.

Not finished the first episode yet but loved this little bit of dialogue of Donna to the Doctor:
"You, you're the last person I'd give Caffeine" a perfect Donna line lol.

The amount of traffic they're getting from this is just incredible. This is bringing in so many new customers for them. Sales will be through the roof.

Finished now in order of preference:
Time Reaver
Brilliant Cast setting and story really flows well.
Death and the Queen
Excellent interplay by Caterine Tate and Alice Krige Ditto with David Tennant and Beth Chalmbers
Technophobia
Bit meah if I'm honest oddly paced it took ages to get anywhere and then was a rushed ending. Also the Koggnossenti dialogue effect made them hard to understand clearly
As for David Tennant absolutely on the ball from beginning to end and Cathrine's take with Donna is forthright but not in your face.
Overall a solid 8 out of 10 and I hope we don't have to wait to long before the next set.
