Now that I've listened to all three stories, I'd say Death and the Queen is probably my favorite, with Time Reaver being my second and Technophobia sitting at third. Catherine Tate sounded a little lost in Technophobia, but she got better as she went along - the other two releases, she was on fine form. Meanwhile, it's like David Tennant never even left the role and maybe we can thank his previous audio experience, the fact that one of his latest on-screen performances (Killgrave) was quite similar to the Tenth Doctor in terms of performance, or maybe it's just down to the fact that David Tennant is a fantastic actor.
Either way, I'm looking forward to where Big Finish goes with the Tenth Doctor from here!

Just finished Technophobia and really enjoyed it. I think it was a bit influenced by Robots of Death/Robophobia (hence the name) but updated to something way more modern that I think we could understand. Robots turning on you is stuff of science fiction. But our modern technology turning on us is something perhaps a bit more relatable. Of course what was really happening had a Doctor Who twist to it but it didn't make it any less scary. In fact I think what was really happening was more scary in a way. I also loved both Doctor and the Donna in this. Their chemistry was perfect it was like they never left the Tardis. And it was nice that both Doctor & Donna got to be very active in this story. And that coffee line I mentioned earlier I kept rewinding. I don't know why but that scene just really amused me and brought me back to the relationship I loved between Donna & the Doctor. If I have one minor quibble I did think the train guy who came in the later half came in a bit too late into the story. He kind of felt like a convenient fix as someone who wasn't affected. However I did like seeing the Doctor affected. It made the sense of urgency feel stronger

Heard Technophobia so far. It's very good and I think if I have any misgivings I should probably reserve judgement - Donna doesn't seem quite as "in your face" as she should somehow but it may be Catherine Tate stepping back just a little to let Dave have a little more spotlight for his triumphant return, or maybe she hasn't been written with quite the usual range for that reason. That's something that struck me immediately when re-watching season 4 lately is how much territory both The Doctor and Donna can cover emotionally in a single episode. Their chemistry seems perfectly intact in Technophobia and there's some really good dialog between them that doesn't hurt either, and Tennant is of course magnificent.
I think I should probably allow myself a little adjustment for The Doctor and Donna on audio also before having too much confidence in my rating of it as a story - it would only be fair to rate it as an audio but my brain is still sort of trying to make a TV episode out of it. I don't know why but a little of that "Why aren't there pictures with this audio?" thing just seems to come along with new ranges for me.

One a month? I thought one a day was a sacrifice Started listening to the Audio Adventures of Doctor Who it is pretty much extracts of the extras taking from the recent new series box sets. Most of these I heard already (except the one on Churchill) but it's a nice way to waste an hour. Certainly a nice thing for new listeners. However I wish it was actually something on the history of Doctor Who on audio. That would have been really cool to listen to. I went to a panel on this very subject with Gary Russell and it was fascinating. I would love a round table talk on the early days and beyond of Big Finish.

Just listened too technophobia and I loved it, I'm rather annoyed I only decided to get one now and not the bundle as I enjoyed this release a million times more than I expected too, it was really amazing If you email or call sales tomorrow, they may be able to sort something out with an upgrade to the bundle for you. Cheers Tony Thank you, however i spent a lot on the eighth doctor sale and so ill probally just wait till i get my allowances and then buy the other two. But still thank you for the suggestion :-D

I got quite a listening back log at the moment, currently trying to get through torchwood Victorian one....which I am finding a bit of a slog and not enjoying at all. I might have a listen to audio adventures assuming it don't contain spoilers for the other 10th doc titles. but yeah a talk on big finish history would be great.....Gary Russell would make a good podcast guest if you listening mr briggs!

For me James Goss edged it with Death and the Queen, but plenty to like all the way through

So, I just had tp private message a woman on a David Tennant Facebook page who was uploading the download version to a Google Drive account and was offering it to anyone on that page that wanted it. I was livid. It made me really angry. I think I might email Big Finish and give them her name.

It is such a shame that you had to deal with that, but hopefully it helps Big Finish if you do decide to tell them

If she refuses to take the link down I would report her to Big Finish or write on the facebook page in public why its awful to share Big Finish illegally.

Should've put money on this happening, there seems to be a shift in cultural thinking so that all entertainment should be free and the makers of said entertainment asking money for it are almost immoral. Regards mark687

What blew me away was that her response to my PM was that as least she wasn't offering it on her blog where thousands of people could get to it. She was just offering it on the closed Facebook page where there weren't nearly as many people. But she would take it down to make me feel better. Unbelievable.

Perhaps you should cheekily make a post on the fan page of why downloading from Big Finish illegally is bad and David would not want you to do it.

Look at the Sapphire & Steel series.

People uploading stuff like that is exactly why why movies and TV shows aren't available DRM free (although some shows like The Drew Carey can't be obtained any other way).
