Reading the news story looks like more adaptations of some sort could be on the way.

Reading the news story looks like more adaptations of some sort could be on the way. Well, I think it could just be more information on upcoming box sets for the Third Doctor or other special releases... BUT, a part of me (a very big part of me, truthfully) hopes that we might be getting some comic adaptations involving a certain shapeshifting, crime solving, big talking bird...

Considering rumors that a certain acclaimed author is returning to Big Finish.

'Watch this space' indeed! I don't know about anyone else, but i would really like an original main range trilogy with Chris and Roz, i really quite like the characters and would love to see what they could do with with them. Failing that, a short trip narrated by one of them.

Very good indeed. I do think it overshadowed Absolute power...

Just finished it. Philip Voss stole the show as you know who and Dorney did an excellent job. Sorry for any doubt

Reading the news story looks like more adaptations of some sort could be on the way. Not of novels anyway - "The *final* two of our Doctor Who - Novel Adaptations range are released today" and "the Doctor Who - The Novel Adaptations range *concludes* with two hugely popular stories" It just says "watch this space for future news on special Doctor Who releases" - nothing about those being adaptations.

Didn't they always say, even when announcing the end of the regular range, they'd be back in some form though? Having said that, I'd be very disappointed if this were the last we hear of Chris and Roz.

I'll have a dig around the website's archives and see what turns up. Mmm, the casting has been just superb. It may be unlikely, but I wouldn't mind seeing an original story/trilogy for Seven, Chris and Roz.

I enjoyed this a lot, however I have some questions since I didn't read the book. {Spoiler} Was I supposed to recognize the robot antagonist? Was he someone from the TV series? Or someone from the novels? I kept trying to place him but couldn't. (If it's someone I should easily know I'll feel silly.) I am starting to really love the Roz and Chris pairing. Another vote here for a MR story with them.
