Controversial opinion: I kinda wish he was. (Less controversial: He's not, though.)

Where's Magnus when you need him?! For a mad moment I was considering serting up a new account called Magnus Magister and getting a picture of a Taran beast as my avatar. Just for a laugh. I clearly need to get out more.

Was going to post last night, but I didn't. Big Finish posted a tweet teasing Donna and Jack together (one of those they're doing lately) and James Moran seemed pretty keen to write a story. He tweeted three or four replies in less than ten minutes, insisting he hadn't got an offer since he last tweeted, which was pretty funny (he kept calling them Big Fin and hun lol). But then this morning, on a completely unrelated tweet (the one with the trailer for his newest Torchwood story) he asked again if he could write Jack and Donna. I don't know, funny and interesting. Make of this what you want.

Just thought I'd revisit the master list of Unannounced Stuff and see where we are - I have removed everything that has been identified, and added one or two other things:
MAIN RANGE "The Psychic Circus" (Greatest Show prequel, possibly but not definitely written by Stephen Wyatt)
FOURTH DOCTOR ADVENTURES "The Ravencliff Witch" (this is not definitely a 4DA, but it was recorded in 2017 and still hasn't been announced so I think it almost certainly is) "Blood of the Time Lords" by Timothy X Atack "Storm of the Sea Devils" "Shellshock" - features Alicia Ambrose-Bayly as companion Hannah Schumann - a boxset with a subtitle like "The Syndicate Masterplan", or something else? Story involving Cleopatra and Marc Antony
UNCERTAIN/OTHER "The Hollow Crown" by Sarah Grochala - for the First Doctor, but a First Doctor Adventure, Companion Chronicle or Early Adventure? "Susan's War" - again, a First Doctor story, but not sure what exactly "Like", "The Vanity Project" and "Conflict Theory" - all seem to be one-disc Sixth Doctor/Peri stories, likely for the Sixth Doctor's boxset? Untitled Second Doctor/Dalek story by George Mann - likely for the 2020 Companion Chronicles set Untitled story by Martin Day for the 2020 Companion Chronicles set The Donna Noble Adventures
"The Hollow Crown" sounds like a historical, and "Susan's War" is definitely a sci-fi story given we know it features the Sensorites, so I think that is the line-up for either The First Doctor Adventures Volume 4 or next year's Early Adventures (I do not think they are Companion Chronicles).

Are we sure "Susan's War" is a First Doctor story, and not a Time War follow-up to "All Hands on Deck"?

Are we sure "Susan's War" is a First Doctor story, and not a Time War follow-up to "All Hands on Deck"? We're not sure but I'd be surprised if a Time War story featured Sensorites. I think people are perhaps thinking too literally with the word 'War.'

I think people are perhaps thinking too literally with the word 'War.' You may very well be right. I'm just thinking that the various Time War-centric ranges are hitting their 50-75% complete points, meanwhile it's been nearly two years since All Hands on Deck without any follow-up. I don't think there's anything crazy about parsing Carole Ann Ford news with an eye to that

Dorney’s written something complicated... I was looking through his list of credits the other day and John Dorney's one of BF's most daring and experimental writers of recent years. A sequel to Inferno, a Find-Your Fate episode, a multi-Master story, the isolated audio track to a director's commentary on a DVD, a story of ideological contamination, writing challenges that manifest as plot twists that I have to bite my lip about in order not to spoil them... This seems pretty on brand. Can't wait to see what it is!
