Indeed. It's very rare announcements are made immediately upon completion of a recording...

Indeed. It's very rare announcements are made immediately upon completion of a recording... This is true. Doesn't mean I wasn't projecting some wishful thinking.

This was my guess for the Eighth Doctor's special boxset, so score. With this, 10 and Donna, a Missy boxset and more on the way, I think Big Finish might be outdoing themselves yet again. Also, it seems that they are announcing 20th anniversary releases at a rate of one/two a week, so maybe they will announce something today. However this is only based on the last two weeks so take this a pinch of salt.

8 & Lucie? That’s a must-buy. I hope it’s set during their existing time together and not a reuniting by some means

When you look at Alicia's 'Radio' section, it says that she's in three different stories/episodes - The House on the Edge of Chaos, The Revolution Game, and Shellshock. It also specifies that she's playing " Tom Baker's Companion", Hannah Schumann, in Shellshock! Another new companion already??? (Well, I say 'already', it'll probably be 2022 before we first hear her ) EDIT: Just realised we talked about Hannah back in June. I had a feeling the names rang a bell

Nice to hear about more adventures for the Eighth Doctor and Lucie. It’s the new companion for Tom that interests me the most though!

I mean there’s much still elements of depressed Eight but I guess I just get the impression that with Bliss and with Sheena in Starship Of Theseus he’s got more of hopeful Eight in him. Which is strange because you’d think he’d be at his most depressed in the Time War.

I know that this is an unpopular view, but I find hopeful Eight blander than 5 on tv. In both situations, we got to see what both the incarnations and actors could do later on, but holy shingles is Eight boring, especially in the T.V. Movie, Charley audios etc. I think once they hit the EDAs they finally found something Paul McGann could actually work with and bounce off and I think that people tend to say that Lucie was a lighter time as opposed to Boxset McGann, but honestly they feel very much the same to me. There is always been a bit of lightness in the boxsets, especially when River, The Monk and The Eleven were around, and vice versa, there has always been a bit of darkness to the EDAs, citing Lucie Miller/To The Death, Death In Blackpool and Human Resources as much darker than a lot of the boxset tales.

It was here in this thread, not a proper announcement or anything Type Alicia's name in the search bar and it shows up in the first couple of results

So what do we know about the 20th anniversary celebrations?
Announced - Legacy of Time for Docs 3-8 Comic adaptation for 4 New New Adventures for 7
We are assuming/speculating: Further Adventures of Lucie Miller for 8 Something with Peri for 6 (something has been mentioned on the podcast with Peri and 6 but we don't know if it is for the 20th anniversary or not)
Once again 5 is shrouded in mystery!

There's a good theory that it might be something 5/Tegan/Turlough related, as they've never appeared in that TARDIS team in full-cast audio before they've all recorded stuff recently (Mark Strickson separate to Peter and Janet), but otherwise no, no real ideas. There's the Missy box set, but I'm not sure that counts as one of the 20th anniversary celebrations, what with her not having appeared in anything (yet - River 5 is due next year though).
