The Isle of Dogs is utterly wonderful and utterly Wes Anderson. It is a sublime love letter to dogs and Japanese culture & films.

Atlantic Rim 2 (2018) an Asylum film A Pacific Rim:Uprising RIP OFF Wow...it went from bad, to unbearable
This could very well be one of the worst movies ever made. The acting was absolutely horrible. The plot was non-existent. The special effects...well, we can't even call them special...more like, special-ed effects! I'm not kidding, this movie is a complete waste of time. You might well just watch a candle melt - it will be more entertaining. I wouldn't watch this movie again I watch warriors of the deep and time fligth for a month non-stop than watch that again It's THAT bad!

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. There are some good bits in this, but they really dialled up his eccentricities, which didn't work
28 Days Later Still fantastic after all this time. I do wonder what happened to Megan Burns
Shaun Of The Dead Great film. perfect mix of comedy and horror

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. There are some good bits in this, but they really dialled up his eccentricities, which didn't work I still really like the second Ace Ventura, but the major way it differs from the first, is that he was almost exclusively the source of all the absurdity Pet Detective, whereas in Nature Calls, lots of the characters are silly and over the top as well. Which is still funny, but significantly different. Treasure Planet Years since I've seen this film, but I really like it. The Steampunk Space visuals are really creative, and the alien characters are all well-designed and voiced. I especially like the loquacious Captain and robotic CGI/2D fusion Ben. It really lays the surrogate father aspect of Jim and Silvers relationship on pretty thick in this interpretation.

It's a surprisingly faithful adaptation of the Treasure Island novel, and has a charm about it. The visuals are amazing. Morph is a brilliant character, perfect for the comedy animal alien sidekick without being over the top. I really want this to go live action. It's got space pirates with the pirate ambiance (I'd rather have this over another Pirate of the Caribbean).
I'm also a huge fan of Atlantis The Lost Empire.

Quatermass And The Pit
Easily the best Quatermass film. Andrew Keir is a hundred times better in the title role than the awful Brian Donlevy in the two 50s ones.

On Monday night I saw 'Love, Simon', which was certainly a great start to a long week! It's been a wet, grey Saturday today and that was Movie of the Week ($9 ticket price), so I watched that today. Not my usual genre, but a really sweet movie.

Not my usual genre, but a really sweet movie. I've not a regular LGBT film viewer (for me they're an every once in a while 'treat'), but it certainly was a sweet 'little' film, yes... If it's still on (and 'The Avengers' hasn't started yet), I might give it another watch when I'm at the cinema next...

Transformers: The Last Knight Watching this for the second time, it feels more like two movies mashed into one with all the backstory cut from it. I still wanna write a fan script mind, fixing the continuity again. It can be done lol

"Once Were Warriors".. this movie single handledly stopped the "sheep" jokes. What a powerful movie.
"LaBamba".. another powerful movie- Ritchie Valens died at 17. so young.
