Your in for a treat, ep 4 OMG all I'm saying, this season gets very dark but is engrossing. I want to say thanks, because it was your post that convinced me to watch Daredevil season 3 and I was not disappointed. Each episode is better than the last, and if they keep this up the season will be better than the first one! I loved this season, it gets behind the inner turmoil of Matt Murdock & basically strips him of everything & asks the question who is Matt Murdock. I love what they done with the Kingpin arc & as a character & trust me episode 13 doesn't disappoint it's a fantastic finale with a excellent pay off. Glad my post convinced you to watch it.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina - first episode
A friend recommended this for my daughter and I decided to preview it to see if it was appropriate.
Kiernan Shipka plays Sabrina. I thought she was really talented in Mad Men, but I'll never be able to spell her name without copy/pasting it. She can absolutely carry a series. Kid has a bright future ahead of her.
Supporting cast is very CW. I have no idea what kind of accent Michelle Gomez is attempting. The word "almond" just destroys her. However, she's still Michelle Gomez and absurdly charismatic.
I watched Riverdale for a while until I ran out of people willing to watch it with me. Sabrina has much the same feel to it. It's got a flavor, certainly, even one that I like, but it lacks the verisimilitude of authentic teenage conversation.

I have yet to find any TV show that actually presents authentic teenage conversation. Everything is either too precisely adult, or too studied at trying to sound adolescent so just sounds utterly ridiculous.

If you want a genuine representation of teenagers, I'd recommend Misfits. Though the story gradually worsens over the course of the show, there are some great stories and characters in there, and they really do speak and act in ways that people that age tend to (though they may only be representative of the culture I've grown up in - while this is a British show, it's all very applicable to Australian youths too...). EDIT: That's not to say that I've ever done anything illegal like the protagonists (I haven't), I just mean that their social interactions are very accurate

I think Buffy came closest. Using real world slang would tie the program to a specific time and place, but they neatly sidestep the issue by using the real world adjacent Buffy-speak.

Titans episode 3. This isn't getting any better. Very dull, slow & formulaic with some violence added to wake up the audience.

I don’t generally watch or have any interest in reality TV, but I wanted something light, and a couple of friends have mentioned it, so I’ve been watching some episodes of Queer Eye. It can get pretty silly at times, but has amusing and interesting bits.

Smallville, episode 1
The series went on for far too long and seasonal rot set in a good four or five years before it was cancelled, but it was really good in the beginning.
I don't buy an incredibly ripped and impossibly handsome adult man in his late twenties as a bullied high school underclassman, but it's hard to deny that Tom Welling looks more like Superman than anyone since Christopher Reeve.
Allison Mack's current notoriety tends to overshadow her role as Chloe, but she's got a whole lot of charm. The same can't be said of Kristen Kruek's Lana Lang. She's pretty, certainly and I'd even concede that she's technically proficient as an actor, but she lacks chemistry with Welling.
The Luthors are gloriously hammy and ridiculously great. The Kents serve as excellent foils.
Mythbusters
Not an exaggeration to say that it inspired a generation. Great concept, great cast.
Daredevil, Season 3
Thanks to @timelord007 for convincing me to give this a chance. I've always felt that the biggest problem with the Netflix Marvel series is how flabby they get in the middle. They finally seem to have corrected the problem with Daredevil, Season 3. Every episode is better than the last and builds on what has come before.

The Detail
Turns out this is a US verison of Scott & Baliey with input from original Writer as well and oddly an Actress from Manchester UK (but not an Actress from the UK Show), doing it in an American Accent
