Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed both of these too - they really offer a peek behind the scenes (or should that be behind the ring modulator). His perspective on criticism in reviews and social media is certainly food for thought - I hope I've never crossed the line in that regard... if I'm honest, there's always something to praise in any BF production so I usually try to focus on the bits that really work for me.

The Eighth Doctor finishes his Doom Coalition sequence of stories and we move into the Time War with him — although there are plans afoot to do many more adventures with the Eighth Doctor in that almost infinite run-up to the Time War. We’re not shutting off any narrative possibilities there.
There’ll also be all sorts of great stuff for the First, Second and Third Doctors too — with the Daleks turning up to have a battle with the Third Doctor.
Well that answers two big questions - one being "who's the iconic monster returning to the Third Doctor series?" - although I still maintain "iconic monster from that era" is not the Daleks - they're an iconic monster from every era.
