If not Jeremy Corbyn, then who in Labour? I wish David Milliband would return to Labour. His brother should never have been the party leader over David M (pre-Corbyn).

People say that, but David Milliband couldn't persuade Labour party members he was a better leader than Ed, why would he be able to convince the country?

I can't speak for the people who have paid to join Labour, but I don't trust the politicians who form the Labour Party.

By politicians I suspect you mean MP's. Labour MP's do not form the party if that's what you mean, nor do they elect the leader.

Yeah, the leadership candidates are chosen by the mps. If someone wants to stand as a candidate to lead the party they need a certain amount of nominations from other mps. The amount needed to stand on the leadership ballot in that race was the support of 33 mps. David Milliband had the highest support of any of the nominees, with 81 mps nominating him. It was the general public who were Labour Party votes who rejected him in favour of his brother. So the politicians were supporting David Milliband. He just couldn't win over the voters.
