Theresa May's been Prime Minister for a few months now but I thought I'd do the same thread for her as with Trump anyway.
Here are my predictions:
- Brexit won't happen until 2018 at the earliest. This will annoy those who voted in favour of leaving the EU as they will believe the government are using delaying tactics. - A stronger relationship between UK and US thanks to President Trump will see the blow by Brexit lessened. - As a consequence however it will result in us going to war with Mexico, after America declares war on the Mexicans for trying to scale Trump's wall. - The Conservative party will go down in popularity due to Theresa May kissing up to Donald Trump. Labour will make it clear that they won't 'kiss up to President Trump' during the 2020 general election. This will see Labour's popularity go back up. - Due to rising public transport prices, less people will use the trains and buses. Pollution will go up, making already heavily polluted places like Leeds and Sheffield close to uninhabitable. - Theresa May will attempt to negotiate with other EU countries to allow us to keep food and drink trade benefits from being an EU member. Boris Johnson will scupper all negotiations by being a brainless chicken and offending every EU country under the sun.

I don't think they'll go down in popularity or we'll go to war with Mexico.

I don't think they'll go down in popularity or we'll go to war with Mexico. Take a look at the Donald Trump thread to see why I say that. What are your predictions?

Predictions: Brexit will be allowed to proceed by the government. Theresa May will declare a flash election after this and the tories will win with a landslide. In said election, there is a clear split of votes between lib dems, labour and UKIP, with it being uncertain as to who the government would call the opposition party. This results in Tim Farron and Corbyn stepping down. Paul Nuttall shall stay. We end up getting a better Brexit than most were expecting, as Donald Trump shall give us a trade deal. And, in 2021, Theresa May will resign and there shall be another election.

Predictions: Theresa May will declare a flash election after this and the tories will win with a landslide. I can't see them winning by a landslide. The conservatives have already lost a lot of popularity due to the rising train prices. Labour have promised to privatise the rail network again.

The conservatives have already lost a lot of popularity due to the rising train prices. Labour have promised to privatise the rail network again. But their leader is Corbyn. The people who don't like the train prices'll go to Lib Dems and UKIP, based on whether they are pro or anti EU. However, I will tell you now, Dalekbuster, that I do terribly respect Corbyn, as he does stand for what he believes in. Ironically, you can see a lot of similarities in his controversial opinions to Trump. Not the actual policies, but the way they are. If I'm honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Labour did do well, but, based on what I know, realistically I don't. Also, what do you think of the other comments?

I predict that at some point The Sun newspaper will go with a headline entitled 'May Day'.

I can't see them winning by a landslide. The conservatives have already lost a lot of popularity due to the rising train prices. Labour have promised to privatise the rail network again. But their leader is Corbyn. True. They definitely need a stronger leader, but I don't think it's necessary for them to get the most seats over the conservative party. As for the other predictions: Sadly this seems inevitable. Definitely can't see this happening. The Liberal Democrats may become a smaller party at some point but Labour will always be an opposition party. Votes will never be split quite as much as that. I really hope Jeremy Corbyn does step down but I can't see it. Tim Farron is a possibility though. I'm still against Brexit, but I can definitely see Donald Trump giving us a great trade deal. He seems pretty keen to make the relationship between UK and US even stronger. This prediction could go either way in my view. Theresa May perhaps will resign, but then again there's an equal possibility she will stay. It depends what happens between now and 2021.

I predict that at some point The Sun newspaper will go with a headline entitled 'May Day'. Yeah, that wouldn't surprise me. There will be some mass panic that will be made a bigger deal out of than need be.

My prediction is, Theresa May and Donald Trump will have a love child in 2018.
(Okay, it's a long shot I know... but with all the crazy stuff happening of late, what is normal seems to be changing day by day, so who knows?!)

If not Jeremy Corbyn, then who in Labour? If you know of anyone, I'm sure the public would love to have a name as there's just no-one seriously looking like they could lead a Labour revival before the next GE, and perhaps even longer. It's been, and continues to be, a rather long winter for Labour. There's such a cult around Corbyn that there's little chance of anyone taking over anytime soon as he's shown no appetite for stepping down and with the way Labour choose a leader, even less chance of anyone beating him in the event of another leadership challenge. He's won huge victories in back-to-back leadership races. There's a reason none of the bigger figures stood against Corbyn this summer, the Coopers and Burnhams - because Corbyn beat them in 2015 already and losing to him again would kill their longer-term aspirations. Frankly Labour are dead in the water regardless of who leads them for the next few years. Keir Starmer or Dan Jarvis would be more electable but they won't beat Corbyn so it's a moot point. Clive Lewis is being mooted by a few outlets but he's not going to win the centre-ground votes in England that they'd need to win a general election.

I don't think they'll go down in popularity or we'll go to war with Mexico. Yeah. There is no way that we are going to war with Mexico. Our relationship will be shaky for at least the next four years, but there isn't going to be a war.
