A thread to discuss your hot drink preferences.
(I didn't include a poll because the options are near limitless)
I prefer tea myself, ideally a good breakast tea type brand such as Twinnings or PG Tips.
Teabag first, water second leave it stand for a minute followed by a dash of milk, I rarely have sugar, sometimes have peppermint or fruit tea instead.
I occasionally drink Coffee (usually instant coffee, something like Nescafe Gold with sugar and milk) when I want a bigger caffeine hit, but I've never learned to appreciate the taste of Coffee and hate all the fancy frothy Cappucinos etc.

In a limited choice question like this, there is only one answer... TEA!

Both. I prefer coffee but also enjoy a cup of English Breakfast with lemon.

Tea, preferably Lyons...seriously, the tea in the UK is dreadful, apart from Yorkshire. Coffee is good too.

Usually have Typhoo, or PG in the morning, but I prefer Assam.
Really going off Coffee. It needs to be milky, though!. Used to drink Kenco Colombian, now on Kenco Millicano, but that leaves dregs at the bottom of the mug. Don't like Carte Noire.

Typical British citizen in the fact that I love tea. I tend to have Typhoo at home and PG at work. Not a big coffee fan, though.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Not big on either, prefer ice cold water or the Devils poison (Diet Coke)
But will drink tea, once or twice a day very strong (Yorkshire), tiny bit of milk no sugar.
Coffee less often but that is opposite of tea, weak, milky and sweet.

Tea, preferably Lyons...seriously, the tea in the UK is dreadful, apart from Yorkshire. Sorry to break this to you Charles, but Lyons Tea is made in the UK and shipped over here now. (Unilver bought Lyons out years ago, and make Lyons tea in England as a brand for the Irish market, but it's probably the same blend of tea used in one of their many UK brands.)

Chai tea. Good chai tea. Real chai tea. It's bizarrely hard to come by.

Hi Stevo, I know that and have (a) checked it out and (b) I can still get Barry's if need be, and (c) if you can find that blend do let me know (!), as there's a reason Irish tea historically tastes different than the usual PG grey water muck, but after years of looking and googling, the closest in taste is Yorkshire.

I like them both for different times of day.
My boys would say tea most heartily.
