That's surprising. I thought Adams had pretty much put all of Krikketmen into Life, the Universe and Everything.

Well it depends what James turned up in the Adams archives.
And even if it's just a variation on a theme, it'll be interesting to see the DW version.

That's surprising. I thought Adams had pretty much put all of Krikketmen into Life, the Universe and Everything. As long as the Adams estate license it then there's nothing to stop it moving back. Much like there was nothing to stop elements of Doctor Who appearing in Dirk Gently.

I seem to recall Scratchman was abridged in DWM around about ten years ago.

In case you weren't a reader of DWM back then, here's a taster: thomas-stewart-baker.com/article52.htmlWorth picking up a copy for the Amicus-style 'film poster' alone.

Blimey.
Mind you, I always reckoned that his treatment as published in "Don't Panic" could've fitted round LTUAE with both happening simultaneously.

Probably set during Season 17. I'm definitely buying this.

Interesting. I can see why they ultimately passed on it, considering the similarity to the Key to Time arc just the year before.
