Accidentally deleted all my New Who audios off my laptop and went to download them again only to find that download times are currently abysmal. It shouldn't take 18 hours to download a single release...

It shouldn't take 18 hours to download a single release... That's more likely an issue either with your own connection or somewhere in your isp's network. Try power cycling your modem and restarting your router and computer - that might clear things up and offer a more respectable download time.

Other things from other sites download just fine. It's just Big Finish that I'm having this issue with.

I have this problem quite a bit here in the US. Big Finish runs really slow on downloads for a few days then clears up for a while.

It's worth all of us getting a hard drive to back up our digital files.

tried again - still not working for any Big Finish download (and I don't want to download anything else) Some web-pages are reluctant to load (like bleedding cool) suggesting it may be an issue with internet or wi-fi or something like that. I got Horror of Hy-Brasil okay 2 or 3 weeks ago, but last weekend and this, when I try to download it fails to start to download. If I cancel and retry, it starts but soon comes to a dead stop. Does anyone know of any likely causes and/or solutions?

If you connect your computer to a router, try connecting directly to your modem (if you haven't already), this will rule out issues with your internal network and help identify whether it is possibly your modem going bad or possibly an issue with the line entering your home.
