We must all be speechless for squeeing? I could hardly wait for this thread to get posted - what a fantastic month ahead!! New Dark Shadows, Blake's 7 and CDNM... Life is good! But wait, just to be sure, we'll also throw in Ianto, Lucie, Ace & Mel, and the Movellans, how's that?
(I'm still very tempted to get the Jack Gerson stories promptly too just because they feature Dan Starkey who I could listen to all day, not to mention their also being nicely priced - even though I'm really beginning to wonder just how long it will be before I get time to hear them. All that binge listening and still a backlog? Wow!)

To echo barnabaslives post above, what a terrific month! I do a lot of preordering, and this just happens to be a month when I've got quite a bumper selection heading for my PC. Top of the shop, as always, Dark Shadows. Although I am excited for the fullcasts, these anthologies work beautifully, and are a real showcase for new/established writers and turn out some exceptionally performed truly spooky stories. You cannot beat having a ghost story read to you, and from these veteran actors (that's a positive, by the way), you just know you're in for a treat. And as a personal note - I can't wait to hear the excellent James Storm! Enough about Dark Shadows? Okay. New Blake's 7! At last! The Island of Doctor Moreau - one of my favourite HG Wells stories - with Ronald Pickup, no less. Another addition to the exemplary Torchwood range, which I'm enjoying far more than I did when it was on television. Classic Doctors, New Monsters - an interesting experiment. A John Dorney main range story, and a Fourth Doctor tale starring the Movellans, written by Andrew Smith. I can't honestly complain about any of that. What a line-up. Sometimes, I have to take step backwards and realise how lucky I/we am/are to have Big Finish.

For me the headline release is 'The Island of Dr Moreau' starring Ronald Pickup. I read Wells' novel years ago as a youngish teen after enjoying 'The Time Machine' and it definitely made an impression! Utterly grotesque, unforgettable and horribly prophetic of what might be possible (maybe by different yet equally undesirable routes) in the not-too-distant future. They may well have used it as a textbook on Mondas... The Movellans get a long-overdue return (checks hairstyle) and I'm awaiting 'The High Price of Parking' with interest. On the surface, the theme reminds me too much of one of my least favourite TV stories for comfort, but I'm very confident that John Dorney will lay the ghosts of 'Paradise Towers' to rest for me with yet another great story.

CDNM TB versus Vashta Nerada PD in an Old Time War CB against wordy witches and just more PM is always good
4DA slightly different take on the Movellions maybe?
MR Dorney's take on what should a more mature 7th, Ace and Mel team should be good
TW and DW ST as well

It's all about Blake's 7 for me.
Torchwood, the various Who releases (especially the classic Doctors new monsters set) and Dr Moreau are all on the list, and looked forward to, but Blake's 7 is what I'm actively excited for.

Classic Doctors/New Monsters, Moreau, and more Ianto are my top picks this month. I also ordered the Main Range and Short Trips this month. I have to say the last trilogy with Ace & Mel kind of underwhelmed me but looking forward to this trilogy on the strength of some very strong writers.

This is going to be a very strong month isn't it? Dorney does Adams, return of the Movellans, another adventure for Lucie Miller, another Classic Doctors, New Monsters which, after last volume is sure to be amazing, another Ianto, who as far as I'm concerned can only be written well at Big Finish, another in the amazing Dark Shadows readings, Blake's 7's triumphant return, another sure to be entertaining Terrahawks, and another in the amazing H.G. Wells adaptations. Could this month be one of the highest points Big Finish has reached?

Greatly looking forward to shutting out the world for a few hours and enjoying the Classic Doctors, New Monsters box set.
