I am wanting to do some research and compare prices with a 6 or 12 month subscription as I really need physical copies of "The Four Doctors" and "The Five Companions". (I can't keep on borrowing the cd's from 1 of my friends..) I am browsing through the BF site.. Are they still available? I cant find them, not sure if I am looking at the right place..
I would like to know what 6 stories I could pre order to get the 4 doctors cd..
Can any1 out there assist?

If you're going the 6 story sub, you'll need 142. The Demons of Red Lodge and Other Stories. That means the earliest you can start the sub at is 137. The Whispering Forest. If you start it with Demons of Red Lodge then it'll go through to 147. Kiss of Death.
The free gift is only applicable with a 12 story sub, and covers pretty much any single disc release available in the Big Finish back catalog including The Four Doctors and The Five Companions. You'll still need Demons of Red Lodge or Army of Death to get the extended extras on The Four Doctors and The Five Companions respectively.

I can't really justify the cost of subscribing to the Monthly Range and pick and choose which 5th/6th/7th Doctor stories I get depending on what goes on sale so I may already have a few of the stories in these subs, but if Bf ever put The Five Companions/Four Doctors on general sale I'd be first in line to get them.

I miss the yearly subscriber extra release. They were nice to get, but overall I think a cheaper subscription price is the better option. |

Done! I bit the bullet today, I ordered a 12 month cd retrospective subsciption and immediately chose "The Four Doctors" cd.. Should take about 2-4 weeks to get all the cds to my po box.. I literally havent bought any Main Range cds for about 18 months so.. works out well for me 6 of them are 5th Doctor and the remaining half are split between 6 and 7.. Next.. Might do the same but get my brother to setup an account- get "The Five Companions" cd.. |

My issue with 12 month subs is I own pretty much everything BF have produced so the free CD has no appeal. Anything I don't have is either something I don't want or else not a single-CD release so not eligible for the free CD.
I'd rather get £5 or so off the cost of the sub.
