And that is a fantastic cover. It screams 1980s but also looks rather timeless as well.

My favorite of the lot. Feels exactly like a VNA cover, and an especially good look for Seven.
And shameless self-promotion again: if your subscription includes Alien Werewolf, you'll get a free Short Trip by me. (So, y'know, please do.)

Looking forward to it, another ST for my Doctor and Jo yes please!
(May I compliment all the Paul Spragg finalists who chose the Third Doctor, on their excellent taste? Without you it would be two years since we had a new Third ST, so thanks for the great stories!)
And what a splendid cover, a mix of urban nightscape and intensity - Ace with her most 'don't mess with me' face on!

So this is set after Ace leaves. HOW OLD IS SHE? I am so confused with how long Ace is supposed to have been in the TARDIS, I though it was supposed to be years and years.

She doesn’t know how old she is, but the TARDIS is supposed to mess with your aging. There’s a comic where Sarah Jane actually says she isn’t sure how long she was with the Doctor and it could have been five or ten years. The way I look at it, Sophie Aldred was about 10 years older than Ace anyway. They should have used the picture from the Gallifrey Time War Set as she looks more mature there than having her in full Season 25 kit.

He is simply amazing. And cute. And funny. Love on first sight at last years Comic Con. He never really featured much on my radar. Not anymore.

He's good fun to meet isn't he? Slightly bewildered by it all, and yet very on the ball at the same time. Long may he reign!

When I met him, he reminded me very much of my old landlord in NZ (same age), the same cheeky smile, the to the point silly comments and humor. Plus pretty similar old hippie tales. He even came over to chat and have pictures taken with my fanclub and our TARDIS. Plus the best panel I have ever seen on a convention.

one thing I'm wondering about This year Big Finish are doing things they haven't done before - character or character combinations not previously featured 5 has Kamelion, 7 has Mags, 6 has Peri ? Peri is great but they have featured her before in quite a number of releases so is there someone else/something else not yet mentioned? ... maybe the combination of Peri AND Frobisher ? or maybe someone I can't realistically guess ...

I don't think it was a given that every trilogy in the main range this year would feature something new, it just happened that the Kamelion and Mags trilogies were done back-to-back.

Seven had Klein (a novelty back then) Six had Jamie Five had Tegan (another novelty back then)

Plus it presumably forms a trilogy with the two double features that follow it. Or at least they’re all Fifth Doctor stories.

Be interesting 5th and Cicero in professional life seems a good match.
I wonder what Tegan will make of his personal life though could be some really good culture clashes in seeing it through the Modern Eye
More Short Stories means more adventures from more writers good times.

Brilliant news! Really hope it's a pure historical though, Cicero was probably my favorite release of 2018 (with Master of Callous, maybe?) and I've gradually fallen in love with Samuel Barnett's performances since Dirk Gently, including his Torchwood stuff as the ever fabulous Norton Folgate. Love the fact that it's written by David Llewellyn and directed by Scott Handcock also, the same team that brought us Cicero. I've never been a fan of Nyssa but this could be my most anticipated release from the Main Range this year.

Do we know the title of release 255, the last of the 6/Peri trilogy? Seems like it's back to the 2 September releases, instead of December, too. Which Doctor do you think will have the last monthly of the year?
