Here's my problem - I don't exactly have a limit on how much I can spend, it's simply a matter of trying to impose one No limit? ... Get EVERYTHING!!!! Cheers Tony So is the case with me. The only limit is what my conscience permits.

Cheers Tony I say "no limit" - I do only have so much money in the bank, but theoretically I could buy everything I wanted, it'd just be extremely bloody expensive

If you are UK based you aren't saving by getting Counter-Measures as by spending £50 or more will give you 10% anyway. If you are an International customer and a CD customer, look at what savings you can make including shipping costs. Work out how best to spend whatever you can afford (and don't spend more than you can afford!). Older titles (apart from MR51-100 CDs) will still be around to get in future sales . Cheers Tony Here's my problem - I don't exactly have a limit on how much I can spend, it's simply a matter of trying to impose one Enjoy 😀

The point about this sale for me is its breadth rather than depth. The main attraction for me is the 10% off pre-orders, which only seems to come around once every 4 years. There are gaps in my collection which I want to fill but, to be honest, if I am prepared to wait (and I am) they will more than likely come up in a future sale sometime in the next 12-18 months, with a significantly greater discount than 10%.
So my advice is to keep a level head, this is not a good sale for filling in gaps in your collection, other than DW MR 51-100 Cds that are going out of print, the real advantage here is the 10% off pre-orders. Hold out for a bigger discount to fill in those gaps.

My plan is to grab some pre-orders (probably not all) and as many 'recent' releases as I can. Stuff like Fourth Doctor Adventures: Series 5 and 6 which won't go on sale for another 1-2 years, or The Early Adventures: Series 3, which also may take a while. I'm also looking at mopping up a lot of stray releases - Excelis, The Stageplays, Sarah Jane Smith, etc., as well as desperately hoping for at least on Main Range sub (preferably two, though the full eight subs I'm missing wouldn't go astray either! )
