Return of the Daleks slots into Dalek Empire, doesn’t it? Yes - very early too, in the Kalendorf and Mendes days of the first Dalek Empire. Nice and easy. The Short Trip Museum Peace also slots in to Kalendorf's story to complete the DE set. It's one of the best STs too!

While the lure of Jago and Litefoot Series 11 on CD is strong, the lure (not to mention the savings) of the two Bernice Summerfield Volumes on download is just that bit stronger right now.
Which is why I won't buy anything until late Tuesday because I'm bound to change my mind.. 😊

Which is why I won't buy anything until late Tuesday because I'm bound to change my mind.. 😊 Well, to help you with your decision- New Adventures of Bernice Summerfield 3 and 4 are, in my oppinion, some of the best work Big Finish has ever done. Especially Volume 4 is absolutely amazing. It is very well written and while it can be quite funny on the surface, it has hidden depths and borders on the philosophical in parts (the whole situation of the Doctor as one of the sole survivors of the Time war, and the fact he is confronted with a dying universe where millions die every day and he just cannot save everyone, even with a TARDIS, and how he is able to cope or not cope).
It is just wonderful and it manages to entertain, to make you laugh, but also makes you think.
Plus it features Mark Gatiss as the Master and David Warner as the Doctor, and both are great!
Without doubt it blows every other release on offer out of the water.

Thank you Tuigirl..you've just saved me from a weekend of dithering over which title to go for. Much as I love the Infernal Investigators their meeting with the Master can wait for another day. The two Bennies it is. 😊

What does everyone think about We Are the Daleks and Order of the Daleks? Worth the £6?

What does everyone think about We Are the Daleks and Order of the Daleks? Worth the £6? For me, both stories are very good and definitely worth six quid each. I think Order of the Daleks is the better of the two, it's a very enjoyable Six and Constance story and one of the best Sixth Doctor audios of recent years. (With one of the best Big Finish CD covers ever!) But there's nothing wrong with We Are the Daleks either, Seven and Mel were on top form in this story and it has some nice moments in it. £6 each? Buy buy buy!

Fully agree you won't regret buying these Benny stories - also, the story with David Warner in "The Story So Far" was my favourite of that collection But I do have to say that, while I fully enjoyed and recommend those Benny stories as Benny stories, I did find them disappointing from the perspective of a fan of the Unbound Universe range. David's debut there in the Hong Kong story was so visceral and gripping, I can't think of any other Big Finish story anywhere that strikes the same amazing tone. I do wish we had more like that
