What genres of stories do you want to hear more Big Finish stories to explore? For me, horror and science fiction.
With horror, audio is the optimal medium. The biggest limitation on the monster is your imagination, and if you want to see a rubber suited monster you get a rubber suited monster. Psychological horror is another way to approach it, and audio preserves ambiguity, arguably the best weapon a horror film can have in its arsenal. The Doctor Who audios have dabbled in the genre, and it's one of the key aspects of the Dark Shadows and Omega Factor audios.
I'd like to hear more hard science fiction, like in the big (as in size) novels. The outer space setting is perfect for human drama, going where no man has going before fighting and defying the odds. Writers have been using this for decades. Simon Guerrier's First Doctor Companion Chronicles The Cold Equations and The First Wave are a perfect example of this, Cold Equations in particular.

Cotemporary Crime or Spy Thriller I mean BF regularly work with so many performers who are known for that kind of work, also it'd be interesting if BF ever risked comedy again, what type they'd do Sci-Fi based or Real Life,

Horror...I love the old monster comic books, Werewolf by Night, Tomb of Dracula, Living Mummy, the original Ghost Rider, Id love for BF to put together their own Legion of Monsters series, featuring all the golden oldies, Dracula, frankensteins monster, The Mummy, Werewolf, whatever else they can dredge up, I don't care if the monsters win, cause the good guys, do not win all the time...

I love the approach BF have to horror. I'm always in line for them to do more. Particularly, I email them regularly with suggestions for classic horror novels for them to adapt. The adaptations of Dracula and Frankenstein are both so good, I'd love for them to do more.

If BF were to do comedy I'd like something like Bleak Expectations, or Nebulous. Actually Nick directed Nebulous, tis a pity they don't have the licence for it,even though Graham Crowden passed away. And why Geoffrey Whitehead hasn't worked for BF I have no idea, if he has I haven't heard it. Rigor Mortis was good too. Comedy on audio is totally doable. Just not Acropolis Now! Or BF's previous releases.

I think what Nick says is pretty much true, you can do anything on audio. There are so many genres & styles I would love to hear Big Finish take a crack at. Certainly mysteries and spy stories are at the top of the list, although I guess that itch is being scratched with Callan. I also would like more horror. Action/adventure in the pulp style of Tarzan or John Carter: Warlord of Mars would be most welcome.

Another vote for more horror here. I'd love a bit of HP Lovecraft, or MR James, or Edgar Allan Poe. I know Barnaby Edwards' Textbook Stuff released some horror readings a few years back (which were excellent - David Soul's performance in The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar is truly one of creepiest things I have ever heard), but I'm not sure they sold that well, which is a huge shame.

Fantasy If they do not continue with Pathfinders, and I really hope they do, there are a lot of other book series out there that they could adapt or create their own. Adventure I still love the idea of returning Charley Pollard to the 1930s, battling Nazis and other nefarious foes in a series format like a female Indiana Jones.

There's a discussion on the Lovecraftian audio dramas produced by the HP Lovecraft Historical Society's Dark Adventures Radio Theatre in the Other Audios area. However, I am particularly replying here to mention they have recently released an adaptation of The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar, which is a freebie ( here). They are different in feel to BF's output, but you might want to try that Poe story to see what you think.

I have heard several HP Lovecraft audios (Richard Coyles' reading of Shadow over Innsmouth is a highlight), but I really want to hear them given the Big Finish treatment. It might be the quickest buy I've ever made with BF, and there have been some fast 'uns!

The first series of "Acropolis Now" was rather good, but the characters didn't go anywhere, then they started recasting and ended at least one of the later episodes with.... well, it was clear they couldn't think of a punchline. I reckon that a series of "Nebulous" at BF is a good idea. They could do "The Survivulators" or "The Imprisonedner"....

Pretty much agreed. Though personally I found the use of Chorus annoying on audio too.

And I'll add Hut 33 onto the list of comedy audio to have a listen to. With Alex McQueen!
