I think it's a bit of a gem and always have. It's a bit scuzzy, the tone is kinda all over the place but it's so inventive and original. I always say give me an ambitious flop over anything safe anyday.

Don't call them "the people behind Superman" though - the Salkinds are too bat-shit crazy with a fascinating story behind them, to just bury like that.

They should have a documentary about them, a la Electric Boogaloo for Cannon.
