BTW for our Aussie members, I see Roadshow will no longer be involved in the process of releasing these and it will be Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia Pty Ltd and, in New Zealand, Universal Pictures NZ. No idea if that is causing the delays or not or what it would mean longer term but I read Roadshow are in pretty bad shape. Would certainly explain why dates vanished from the release calendar. Do you know anything about when there might be an Aus release date of Season 10? This is the first update I've had for about a month now. The Universal deal was only in a press release on the 27th August so it's early days. Now you know it's a dead end with roadshow, may be worth contacting Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia Pty Ltd direct if you can find them. The worst that'll happen is you'll know the same as you do now.

Another great trailer. No interest in this one though.

Thanks Davy - Monday 23/12 is cutting it a bit fine for Christmas but probably Zoom will have it with us by the Saturday. Hope it doesn't snow!
Get your pre-orders in folks and remember - "If we fight over it like animals", it'll only be because we're too late pre-ordering and left trying to buy it next year at ridiculous OOP prices.

I'm not crying. You're crying. Shut up. Seriously though, as someone who went from a viewer to a Fan in those last two Seasons (talk about your bad timing!) that got to me in a way the other Trailers haven't. If only there was a company out there somewhere who could pick up the story where the Trailer leaves off...

Another brilliant sounding release. I’ve never seen the VHS extended editions of Battlefield and Fenric, so intrigued by them. The workprint edition of Ghost Light I’m very much looking forward to. It’s a story that’s absolutely soaked with atmosphere but I can never quite get my head around!
I’m happy that The Writers Room is a continuing series. I enjoyed the one on Season 18 and it’s a full house for Season 26. The Matthew Sweet interviews continue to be a highlight of the range, I’m glad he’s tackling the companions too. A feature length JNT documentary should be interesting, with a wide variety of guests.
I’m happy to see three sets of contributors on Behind the Sofa. My criticism of the previous releases has been that two sets doesn’t seem quite enough and seems to linger for too long. The variety is part of the reason Gogglebox is such fun.
The 5.1 mixes don’t appeal to me, but I know they’re very well loved so I’m pleased that there’s so many this time around for those who are interested. This seems to be the first season without optional CGI, which I think is a good thing as it gives hope of multiple stories per season getting them later down the line. I don’t think any of the four S26 stories would benefit from them, so I’m glad it’s not wasted.
Lovely stuff!

That trailer was fantastic! Needless to say that I've already preordered it.

trailer looks great, and more behind the sofa is always welcome.
I was hoping that they could get Carol Ann Ford for this particular season to give it some contrast for season one, but Anneke Wills is more than welcome!

Set the stage for a hugely successful revival seems like a very polite way of saying we got cancelled. I think it would have simply been better to say it was the final season without beating around the bush. Yeah, "Going out on a creative high..." seems more based in reality but I doubt anyone is buying these on the basis of the copy anyway. Lovely artwork: Glad that it also keeps alive my belief that we could get a Wilderness Years box for the TV Movie, as a lot of people seemed to think that was going to be bunged on here. I asked Chris Chapman about that a while ago on twitter and he said that the TVM would have it's own release. EDIT: My memory is going, he'd say they'd release it, but said nothing about an individual release. Granted, with it not on season 26, a wilderness boxset looks likely.

'Workprint' quality extra footage maybe, but that's a quality story and more is very welcome.
As I may have mentioned on here before I'm a big fan of the ghost stories of M.R.James - and Marc Platt's imaginative story has that same sort of atmosphere simply oozing out of the walls - and into the soup.

Hello again.
I'm not crying, it's hayfever. What a great trailer. Season 26 was an unusual season. Some really creepy moments. Jean Marsh and Nicholas Courtney in great form. The bizarre puzzle that is Ghostlight. The atmospheric Curse of Fenric and the final hurrah the fight for Survival.
I really enjoyed this season and I'm glad that despite the ambivalence of the BBC the classic series ended on a high note. Ace!

Where did you hear they were going to be behind the Aus releases? I can't even find a news article about them. For two big name companies, it's very hard to find anything beyond Linkedin about them.

This is a public service announcement...
to say that The Collection Season 10 blu-ray LE is still available from Argos for £40 (also has option of free collection from any store.)
But it notes 'Limited Stock' so this is a chance not to be missed if you still want your copy of this piece of Pertwee magnificence at the proper price. (And to avoid the resale prices I've seen already - "Good grief!" )
