I saw a t shirt tonight on Aussie tv- a Dr Who after show- Had Jodie's face on it, not sure if it's official or not. What do you think will be the 1st lot of merch released? figures? Books? Coffee mugs?

Action figure with detachable head for the regeneration?
I'd love to see more Doctor Who Lego sets. Representing each Doctor and the various console rooms? I'd even buy the console room from The Time Monster!

Capaldi's merch was ready to go from the end of Time Of The Doctor. I remember the rather baffling "KIDNEYS...I'VE GOT NEW KIDNEYS" tshirt - complete with drawn on kidneys - was a particularly WTF addition.  And the switchable head figure....not impossible - my War Doctor has an interchangable McGann head for some reason...even though it's the War Doctor outfit, not McGann's from Night Of The Doctor. If I had to guess, it'll be the usual - prints, mugs and posters. With Ed Russell's job in brand management going and marketing, licencisng and promotion now going to be handled differently - and apparently Chibnall has ideas in these areas - who knows? |

I haven't seen anything from the BBC yet. I did get this shirt with all of the Doctors on it. The print on the t-shirt isn't as clear as on the web page, but it's a pretty nice shirt. |

I'd even buy the console room from The Time Monster! As far as I'm aware, Lego's contract with the BBC expired, and they haven't seemed quick to renew it. Which is unfortunate. |

Shame but on the other hand, one could argue LEGO Dimensions contributed to the BBC's laziness with merch, so maybe this is for the best. |
