So I’ve come across on one of my streaming platforms this show and I want to give it a go. Now I know that most of the first season is of course missing, and can only be experienced by the remade audio episodes from Big Finish which I do not have access to. Do I need season one or can I jump straight into season 2?

And there was me thinking this was going to be a Marvel thread that I could use my comic knowledge on...

Get stuck into s2, this is when the show really finds its identity.

Definitely Season 2 with Mr Teddy Bear. I'd keep a particular eye out for the episodes with Honor Blackman as Cathy Gale as she becomes Steed's regular off-sider for Season 3 (her background is covered in Warlock). Beyond that, you can pick up episodes as you like, they're all standalone. Doctor Who writers Terrance Dicks and Malcolm Hulke worked on The Mauritius Penny, Concerto, Intercrime and The White Dwarf, respectively.

[ The thing is that Keel doesn’t appear after Season 1 and I don’t have the money for an audible subscription. I cannot use kobo as I am in the US and it seems to be mainly British and doesn’t include automatic conversion. I actually started watching the show and am loving it so far but I will say Venus Smith is a dud character in her one appearance so far. Cathy Gale works better.
