Passing on this month's Short Trips as I'm not a big fan of Gary Russell's writing. Also giving a pass on the 10th Doctor Chronicles. 8th Doctor and monthly Torchwood are at the top of my list.

It's not that time already, is it? I'm only just listening to this month's releases. Torchwood has become essential to me, so to have two releases in April is good news. Can't wait for these - the full-casts are excellent, but then so are the single CD releases. Blake's 7's increasingly enjoyable Crossfire series is also highly anticipated. I felt this series got off to a slow start, but Box-Set 2 has seen a considerable improvement (ie: more to my tastes). As for the monthly range, I'm not a massive fan of UNIT, but this new 'team' looks interesting, so I'm looking forward to The Helliax Rift. I'm surprised to find I haven't pre-ordered Ravenous, and even more surprised I'm happy to wait for reviews before making this purchase. I love the Eighth Doctor, but he seems to be stuck in ongoing-box-set-land at the moment. One momentous series, often by the same (excellent) writers, one after another. Perhaps I'm just not in the mood for more bombast!

Ah where to begin I'm really looking forward to my April crop
Ravenous
(the continuation of what we should've had in the late 90s early 2000's)
Torchwood
(The full team against Arthur Darvil as a cult leader in Believe get in)
(The 2nd most underrated character pitted with the most overrated character IMO. sparks should fly in the Beacons)
MRs
(The start of a new Era for Range and potentially an unexplored UNIT Era as the 5th Doc encounters The Helix Rift)
ST
(Hope Narvin is at his sarcastic best when dealing with Adric)
ATA Girl
(Hopefully high quality 80s style Sunday night Wartime Drama in the vein of Tenko or Secret Army)
Regards

This is the most releases I've ever pre-ordered in a single month - I've got everything except The Helliax Rift (and that's only because it's too expensive to pre-order Main Range subscriptions...). Listening to 1 CD a night, I'm covered for 22 nights this month! I'm really excited for everything, but mostly Ravenous, Crossfire - Part 3, and Torchwood - Believe. The release I'm most intrigued by is ATA Girl; it's not something that I'd normally watch/listen to, so the fact that I am interested in it has me quite excited for it

I'm down for four pre-orders this month and I'm strongly anticipating all of them: The Helliax Rift - another classic-era UNIT ! (Pre- or post-Bambera I wonder?) Original classic UNIT is my era so a new twist on the theme is very intriguing. Ravenous - I didn't think I would get this one but... I have faith that BF will quality sugar-coat another 80s creation who left a sour taste for me on TV. Plus the Eleven. And Churchill. A pick 'n mix of friends and enemies I couldn't resist! Erasure - the STs doing something different, again. I like the variety BF are adding to this range alongside the classic style of stories. ATA Girl - I pre-ordered the bundle and I'm really looking forward to this opener for the new Originals range. Mark's 'Sunday night drama' description is exactly what I'm hoping for too. But with more 'expensive' flying sequences than they could have done in the 80s!

Where's the poety in your soul? The Fifth Doctor and UNIT investigate The Helliax RiftFrom Gallifrey to Bellascon, CIA Sub-Coordinator Narvin has to deal with the Fourth Doctor and the possible Erasure of the Web of Time Sink your teeth into the next Eighth Doctor epic, and sate a Ravenous appetite Allons-y! Four more stories in the Tenth Doctor ChroniclesOwen and Ianto find it's not quite Carry on Camping when in search of The Last BeaconIt's up to Torchwood to figure out the scientific nature of the whammy of the Church of the Outsiders, and find the faith to Believe. Caught between two warring sides, the Liberator crew need to get out of the Crossfire: Part 3. It's a bird! It's a plane! It's the first series of ATA Girl! The first Big Finish Original takes flight.

But the descriptions, or lack of. I’ve put examples or more dynamic ways to describe the releases. Spot the X-Files reference?

The Helliax Rift is the only April title I have on order, and the only title that interests me at the moment.

I'm getting DW main range, 10th Dr chronicles, 2 Torchwood and Blake's 7.
Will get the Ravenous bundle as a birthday present in June.
I'm afraid ATA Girl just doesn't really appeal to me

Getting them all.
The one I'm looking forward to most is Torchwood: Believe.
The one I'm most uncertain about is ATA Girl. I'm signed up for all the BF originals, but this one is the least appealing to me based on what I know so far.
The story is certainly one worth telling, but I've found the voices in the little bits I've heard so far to be all a bit too 'jolly hockey sticks' for my taste (as an Australian) - I have avoided the free episode, and am just going on trailers and snippets in the podcast, so I'm hoping that I'm wrong. But if worst comes to worst, I've invested in something new for BF even if not to my taste (good) and because I bought the early bundle it is essentially free anyway (also good).

The only things not on my list are Torchwood: The Last Beacon, The Helliax Rift, and Crossfire Part 3 (which I'll eventually get once I've listened to Part 2).
I'm most looking forward to Ravenous 1, followed closely by Torchwood: Believe. I'm real curious to see how ATA Girl turns out and I think The Tenth Doctor Chronicles will be pretty enjoyable.

The Helliax Rift, Ravenous, Tenth Doc, and ATA Girl for me. I'll wait for reviews for Believe and I prefer to get the Short Trips, Torchwood Monthlies, and Blake's 7 on sale

I know this isn't really on-topic, but I'd like to say what a tremendous month March has been regarding BF releases, with all of them (at least, all the ones I purchased) at the top of their game - The Death of Captain Jack, Sherlock Holmes: The Master of Blackstone Grange, The Third Doctor Adventures Volume 04, Serpent in the Silver Mask, The Omega Factor Series 03 and the omnibus The Quentin Collins Collection all showcasing Big Finish at their best. Hooray!

Ravenous primarily.. Am in two minds whether to purchase Tenth Doctor chronicles or not.. On one hand, he's my Doctor so I have to own it, on the other, I'm not sure if I'll like it or not..
