They're cute, made of felt, make you want to sing, and completely evil. What are your favorite Scorchies stories? What do you like about them and what do you want to hear them sing next?
The Scorchies: They appear on television Encore of the Scorchies: They get employed at Jago's theater Comeback of the Scorchies: They're at a music hall at Margate Broken: They infiltrate the Welsh National Opera and get flamethrowered (there's an option if you don't like them!)

I went with the Jago and Litefoot episode.

And that's why Broken is an option. Seriously, out of many hundreds of hours of Doctor Who on TV and audio, they take up two and a half.

I went with the Jago and Litefoot episode. Worth it for I'll Never Get a Spin-Off.

Torchwood: Broken is the only one of these I've listened to thus far, and the Scorchies did not play a major role, so I haven't voted.

I just went with their original appearance, The Scorchies. Though, Encore of the Scorchies is fun as well. Comeback isn’t bad either, but I prefer the formers more.

Encore of the Scorchies is so dark and depressing I almost gave up on J&L because of it (seriously, it ends with Jago attempting suicide, that’s not entertainment people. No).

In this age of nostalgic remakes, how long before some producer gets a hold of the old Scorchies show and sees franchise potential?
Also if DW ever gets original animated episodes, they'd make a great villain.

The Scorchies were in Torchwood: Broken? I didn't even notice.

The Scorchies were in Torchwood: Broken? I didn't even notice. They took over the opera. Jack and Ianto used flamethrowers on them.

I voted Encore of the Scorchies from J&L. I almost feel sort of bad I didn't vote for Broken since it's a story I really like but at least I can say it's one of my most favorite Torchwood stories of all time, which is hopefully a better compliment.

And Beep the Meep! The most high of all the Meeps needs a comeback! Beep the Meep is just silly. Ask your neighbour 'round for a bite and a drink, and then nibble off his his nose 'til it's round and pink. Enjoy his surprise as you suck out his eyes, you are Beep's friends, kill them all.

J&L was my favourite scorchie story. Ellie's solo "I'll never get a spin off at this rate" can't be beaten

I went with the companion chronicles since the scorchies are like evil Muppets and I loved the muppets in the 70s

I have only listened to Companion Chronicles: The Scorchies so should not really claim to be making an objective vote but to me it works as a warped Muppet show with Jo Grant as 'tonight's celebrity guest star'.
Melvyn Hayes and Katy Manning are perhaps why it succeeds and manage to make it seem like a full cast production. And i imagine its probably a better Doctor Who musical than the Ultimate Adventure.
Edit: And I think its very good too - borderline brilliant. Probably my favourite from the CC range listened to so far.

## It’s time to meet the Scor-chies and give Jo Grant a fright! But would they burn the pla-net?? On The Scorchies show - they might! ##
(Supply your own tune of choice... )
It has to be 'The Scorchies' CC. For any child of 1970s UK TV it’s both nostalgic and hilarious, packed with in-jokes and references; imagine evil versions of ‘The Muppets’ and ‘Bagpuss’ meeting ‘Play School’, ‘Blue Peter’ (and more). The full effect will depend on your age; if you're only a few years too old or too young then some of it will pass you by, but if you’re the right age that Jon or Tom was and is forever *your* Doctor, then ‘The Scorchies’ should be top of the bill! The tunes and lyrics are brilliant - and Katy Manning and Melvyn Hayes are magnificent! (*walks off humming* ## Jo is making a 'thing'... ##)
